Went for dinner (5pm) on a Saturday. Not busy at all- about 3 other tables dinning during our time there. Overall, okay just have had better quality food a other similar places nearby. Open everyday by 11am. Closes 930pm except Friday & Saturday (10pm) Pros: comfortable, friendly service, prices are okay Cons: given wrong food, underseasoned hibachi/steak/noodles, unattentive service, menu is confusing Location: next to oyo hotel. Noticeable from main highway. Very small building with small parking lot. Atmosphere: dim lighting. Tables and booths available (tables seat up to 6, booths seat 4 adults comfortably). Seemed clean. No noticeable odors. No torn seats. Service: friendly but a little unattentive. Went without refills and requested items went forgotten. Some confusion about menu items. Food came out at a decent speed. Menu: recommend looking on their facebook page for most up to date menu. A good variety but we found it confusing because it lists sushi on 3 different pages- the last 2 pages have descriptions of the sushi but that 1st page doesn't. Even when reading those descriptions, we still weren't really sure what we were getting. This menu felt incomplete really. For example, #15 appetizer ika maruyaki doesn't even finish the description "whole Japanese squid grilled with." Food: overall, okay. Nothing super spectacular. We typically go to a place in leesville and we were hopeful that this place would be as good or better to save on the gas. We ordered: crab rangoon ($5 for 6)- large, good, and hot; steak with noodles ($15)- no flavor/seasoning, noodles a little under done; baton rouge roll ($10 for 8 pieces)- needed more sauce and the tempura batter was super thin, it was decent; deridder roll ($11 for 8 pieces)- was given wrong item and even after corrected to right filling it wasn't fried (it said it was fried on menu). They also serve soup/ramen, other sushi rolls, hibachi items. Prices: they seemed okay. Most appetizers were $5+, hibachi for dinner was $13+, sushi was $10+.

ZERO stars. EXPENSIVE BAIT. Waited forever for Togo order. Sushimi was FULL of BONES and just nasty and butchered. Called to let them know just now that it had SEVERAL bones in it, and they had a bad attitude and “manager not here” and so I asked in Spanish and the guy said “oh $***” and hung up. The place is not clean or well maintained, and the service sucks. (Attached photos are of the many bones from 3 pieces of this cruddy sushimi deluxe.) If you look at their health inspections on the state’s site LA.GOV, they have many reports positive for coaches and rodent, as well as, many other complaints.

I ordered a unagi-don and 2x Spicy Tuna Hand/Rolls To-Go. I come home to open this piece of garbage and they charged me $14.99. The Spicy Tuna Hand/Rolls were packaged as regular rolls (no soy sauce packet, wasabi, or ginger). The hostess/waitress was friendly and it was close to their closing time so I tipped her $5.00. I should have checked the food before I left. I spent about $40.00 dollars for this garbage. Unfortuneately, this is the only japanese restaurant in town. But still, I will not be returning ever again. I'll test my luck with Walmart sushi instead.

Went in with another couple to have a nice dinner. Got seated she brought our drinks took her awhile to come take our food order. She brought out the other couples food said ours would be coming out soon. The other couple was done eating before she ever even come to the table to see about any of us. She stated that she was checking the kitchen but is not sure what was taking so long. She lied. We we’re watching her stand there talking to the guys working there. We ordered Steak and Lobster. Well that was a joke. I’m thinking steak and lobster. Well when we finally got our food after waiting an hour the steak and lobster was all cut up. There was hardly any steak and it was shrimp not lobster and there was not much of it more vegetables then anything. The cost was of the plate was $28 dollars and some odd change. I would expect a better plate then what we got for that price. I ordered puffed crab wontons and never got them at all. Then tried to charge us for them. They did remove the wontons from our check after my husband told them to remove it from our bill. This was the first time we have been here and will never go back. Way over priced for what you get and service...

I've been to many habachi places and this was the worst one I've ever been visited. There is no actual grill where they cook in front of you the food is prepared in the kitchen. We ordered the California roll as an appetizer, they had the crab in Some sort of cream which I'm not use to and made the roll itself unpleasant but for the price it was expected. I also order chicken/shrimp habachi just to try it. Our food arrived warm more on the cooler side. The chicken taste "dirty" the first adjective that came to mind. The shrimp also taste dirty, the rice had little to no seasoning, and the noodle were very bland and disgusting. I did not enjoy my.first and last meal there AT ALL. But the manager was nice enough to take $10 off the bill because I did not eat my chicken. I would definitely suggest going to Hana's in...
