Rig A Tony's Italian Takeout & Catering — Restaurant in Derry

I visited this place on 3/6, after not coming in for the last decade. I have to be honest, it has gone downhill. It isn't "horrible" perse, but it certainly isn't "great" either. The service was prompt, I walked in and was met right away with the cashier, she took my order and then within 5-7 minutes, I had my food and was on my way. I was a little put off by the owner and what looked like one of her manager's, loudly scolding an employee, over what he was wearing. And then being downright degrading and on the condescending side. You don't do that in front of customers. You take him to the side and do that. So, that was off-putting and unprofessional. The food, was kinda bleak and blah. I think the sauce could use some help, it is very chunky and next to flavorless. The meatballs were good, the hamburg was nice and tender. The noodles for the macaroni, those could use a few more minutes in the pot, or even a replacement altogether. I'll be back, just not for a while. The prices are a tad steep as well. Not bank breaking, but certainly not budget friendly. Overall, not bad, but not great either. There are some things and areas that absolutely need improvement. I have been to this location on a number of occasions and the food is very good, but I will never go back. I have witnessed the owner, Lisa berate her staff & customers one too many times. The last time I was there she singled out employees one after another, did nothing but complain out loud in front of everyone & then blasted her entire staff in front of everyone. She is a miserable person and has no right dealing with the public. She was then extremely rude to a nice elderly lady and then told her she could not use a $5 off coupon for no apparent reason. The woman spent $115 and the coupon clearly stated, "$5 off any order over $25" and it was not expired I know because the lady asked me to check for her. All she said is "You can't use that!" without any explanation. She is totally unprofessional and does not deserve her customers. Oh by the way, she gave her own restaurant a 5 star review on this site, claiming best food in NH, her name is Lisa Spofford. What a joke! There are far better restaurants around. I love the convenience of them being close to me, because i live next door. However, every time i go the food is under prepared, they don't listen to my order and make the wrong thing, and i've gotten soggy pizza from there fridge. I went in there to get a veggie pizza and left with a calzone. Starving, I had to eat it. Turned out it wasn't sealed properly and everything fell out. I put everything back in and ate it and it wasn't even fully cooked. I didn't think they would even care if i was upset. So, wasn't planning to go in and complain, but i wanted to go to cumberland farms to get a drink and Rigatony's is literally two steps from my front door. I wasn't lazy to go in and complain. I didn't think they cared. Well i went in and they said do you have the calzone I said that i was starving and they called me a liar and told me to get out. I'll never go back.
