12/23/23 01:03:21 Erica took my order; Senior Discount Bacon Burger Deluxe with everything on it & extra mustard. I got my drink & sat down. Another employee brought my meal out. I have been @ this restaurant 4 times in the last week & service was exceptional with Virginia usually helping me & one other employee. Today was a minimal order & total was $11.48. I gave Erica $1.50 in change & a $20 bill. It was obvious she couldn't make change & she picked up calculator. I told her my change should be $10.02 & to keep .02. When I rcvd my food I didn't even recognize the sandwich from previous orders. I found my receipt under the basket & there was no senior citizen discount applied. There wasn't any mustard on sandwich & sandwich was poorly made, sloopy mess. I took it up front & handed it to Erica & told her I was not happy with sandwich, it was poorly made & no mustard & now cold. She responded, I can just give you some mustard packets. I advised her that my right hand was numb & doctor thinks I may have had a mild stroke & I am to get MRI headscan to see. I advised I can't open packets. Then another girl came to my table to see everything is OK. I ask her name, as she wasn't wearing name tag. She never gave her name & just stared @ me. I told her I never received Senior Discount, as I ask. I told her sandwich was cold & sloopy mess. Her response, were very short staffed. She just making up on excuse after another. I told her I never received Senior Discount on my receipt. She "Name Unknown", no name tag responded that it doesn't show up on receipts. I told her yes it does as this is my 4th visit this week. Then she responded I wasn't aware of that. I stated, then why did you tell me that if you didn't know. She had no response & look troubled. Erica came to my table to speak to me & advised I would be speaking to mgmt or owners. While I was eating my food, there was another customer complaining he didn't get the fries he ordered. New visit: 02/09/24 Today's visit couldn't have been better. I ordered full walleye dinner & was extremely happy with my service as well as other's service by the Culver's Team. It was definitely a focused, all out effort to please & serve the customer base @ the counter, drive thru & delivery orders. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience, keep up the good work & effort, it really shows! The walleye dinner was excellent, I had to bring one piece home. Excellent to all the team! My receipt was register 2 @ 3:06, thank you truly...
Read moreI always love Culver's because the food's great at a reasonable cost and the service is great as well. I recently needed to try a gluten-free diet and the options they have are good, especially compared to anywhere else. You apparently need to just tell them to substitute the bun for a gluten-free bun and to treat it as an allergy. The bun's an extra $1.60 or so, and comes in a separate plastic bag with a fork and a knife so you can assemble it together, and they package anything that could be contaminated in another paper bag. The bun tasted no different from a regular bun and had a good texture compared to so many other gluten-free "breads". I got fries even though they're not technically gluten-free (maybe because they're fried in the same oil as the breaded sides?), and they made sure to tell me it's not technically gluten-free and they put it in a separate bag. If you have allergies, I'd make sure to give them a bit of extra time and try not to go through the drive through during lunch rush, so they have plenty of time to properly handle your food, same as you would anywhere else. The culvers.com website should have a list of options that are gluten free if you search for it. I'm glad it seems they take the time to treat the health of their customers seriously and offer those options for those of us who are born with or develop dietary restrictions. Today, Lexi was the one who took my order today and she was incredibly accommodating, helpful, and personable when I told her I was ordering gluten-free for the first time and she walked me through their options. I can't upload the pictures of the food for some reason but it all looked and tasted good. I'll definitely be coming again, especially when other options are so...
Read moreI LOVE this food! Lets just start with that tid bit. BUT the Culvers location on SE 14th St in Des Moines is the WORST I have EVER experienced!! First off I sent an employee to get us all lunch last week. They messed up the entire order! The wrong food, they rang the entire order together when they were very specifically told it was 3 separate orders AND rude service. So when my employee returned to work we called when we discovered that the food was wrong. WE were told that WE HAD TO BRING THE FOOD BACK BEFORE THEY WOULD FIX IT!! Seriously? They have 30 minutes for lunch! That is it! 30 minutes!! Then we were told, when we stated we could not return due to time restrictions, that someone would call us back.... OKAY, so here it is a week later and I thought, well maybe they were just having an off day, I mean the food is not cheap so they must have better service skills than I received the week prior. NNNNNNOOOOOOPPPPPPEEEEEE!! AGAIN BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD AND BAD MANAGEMENT!! Tobias was okay I guess. He obviously does not know how to be a manager IF he really is a Manager, BUT, Justice! HAHA!!!! That girl has ABSOLUTELY NO Customer Service skills!! So AGAIN I asked for a Call Back from one of her superiors by 5 P.M. GUESS WHAT?!?!?! NO CALL BACK!!!! I would say to definitely keep enjoying Culvers as a whole. BUT DO NOT go to the SE 14th St...
