I had this lady as my barista and I specifically told her that I wanted my pink drink with very light ice and with a little bit more of the strawberry base ingredient than the coconut milk. When I pulled forward, she opened the window and showed me the cups used to measure the ingredients to make the drinks and asked me how much strawberry base I wanted in my drink based off of how the baristas measure it and make it.. There’s no way for me to have known the way my drink would have turned out if I told her how much strawberry base I wanted measured in my drink because I’m not a barista there and I don’t know the proper measurements and the amount of ingredients you’re supposed to put in the drinks to make them look and taste a certain way, I was never trained there. I told her this and told her I was going to just show her a picture of the color I wanted my drink. The woman couldn’t even understand the simple directions of “light ice and extra strawberry base”. As she shut the window, I pulled up the picture of how I wanted my drink and as I just got the picture on my phone it died, so I just drove off because I didn’t want anymore conflict. I went to this Starbucks another day and ordered my pink drink with VERY light ice and extra strawberry base. When I got my drink, it was not extra strawberry base at all since it was very light pink and the cup was halfway filled with ice. I went in there and politely asked for it remade with more strawberry base and lighter ice and the same lady said “No, I’m not going to remake your drink, we’ve had issues with you before.” By the way, this was the only time I’ve ever asked for my drink remade and I’ve only ever had that one issue with this same lady as my barista. I also know that Starbucks has a policy to remake drinks If they’re made the wrong way, which mine was. This lady should not be working as a barista if she has a problem with remaking peoples drinks the right way. I used to go to this Starbucks and my drinks were made right every single time. Read moreI previously used to work for Starbucks, and while I usually got to my usual location this one is close to my work so on days I’m running late I stop here. 1) customer service is horrible. The girls are snotty and rude. 2) they have implemented a “grande size only” for water rule, despite wanting to pay for it. Mind you every other location allows the Venti water despite I know Starbucks frown upon it in recent years. Here’s the thing, if I’m paying for a venti cup and ask for a water how hard is this?
