La Rancherita Mexican Food Truck — Restaurant in Des Moines

I think they have good street tacos and good honest people there! I accidentally left my phone and that nice lady actually noticed and put it up for me ... there' was kind of a language barrier when I was there earlier ordering food ..but when I went back we both understood that hand action where we use our hands as the telephone so she knew exactly what I meant..oh yeah hugs are Universal to and I had to give her a great big one for keeping my phone for me when she found it... Id like to say thank you...

I thought the food tasted really good. I ordered a taco and a burrito, I think the total was around $12. I don't eat tons in one sitting at all, however, the taco was tiny!! My hunger didn't diminish at all because the taco was so small. Now the burrito to me, was decent sized. I ate about ½ the burrito, and was able to save the rest for a 2nd meal I ended up adding a tiny bit to the meal. Oooh, and to give you all an idea these were the only things I ate on...

The first time my family ate here everything was great 👍. The second time on the other hand not so great ... I ordered tacos 🌮 and tacos come with a side of lemon carrots and radishes these tacos on the other hand only had one radish and no lemon nor carrots. My mom order a torta , and the torta did not have all the Ingredients it said it did ... we are truly disappointed. We paid for quality food and we didn’t get that. Will not be eating...
