I had an extremely disappointing and offensive experience at this bakery. I paid $120 for a cake that was poorly made, with unsightly black droplets on it that were completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, the cake didn’t even have “Happy Birthday” written on it, which should have been standard for a birthday cake. When I politely requested that they fix this, remake the cake, or issue a refund, the staff refused to do any of these. Instead, they attempted to “fix” the cake, which only made things worse, including misspelling “Happy Birthday” as “Hapy Birthday.”

After this, I took the cake to a local bakery to get a professional opinion. They immediately noticed that the cake was leaning due to a lack of proper structural support. Thankfully, the staff at the local bakery made the necessary adjustments, fixed the misspelling, added decorations, and ensured the cake was presentable for our celebration.

What made this experience even more appalling was when a staff member at the original bakery said, “you people always come here and mess things up.” This comment was clearly racial, as I am African-American, and it was both hurtful and unprofessional. This was my first time visiting the bakery, and I expected to be treated with respect and decency, especially after spending $120.

Rather than resolving the issue professionally, the staff escalated the situation by threatening to call the police and trespass us, which was completely unnecessary.

This experience was unacceptable—from the poor product quality to the offensive and discriminatory behavior of the staff. I ordered a cake on September 15. I called to verify the pick up today for October 5 at 9 to 10 AM for my son’s five-year-old birthday party today. They said the cake decorator would be in contact with me when she was back on September 23, And never contacted me back via text, but they said they had my order written down to make and would Be ready for pick up on his birthday between 9 to 10 AM . Worst decoration I have seen, looks like a small kid did the deco on it plus on top of that they charged me $15 extra just to put another name on it and all they did was change different colored sprinkles on it!!

Ok updated review! Yes we where 30 mins late picking it up not an hr like the owner said. When u order a cake all customers need their cake presentable not like a little kid made it. We get a call saying they will give us the $15 back but on top of that she insults us with curse words. A business owner needs to learn how to respect the customers decisions and not get back at them with curse words. We have never been treated by a local business owner the way these people did.
