Wednesday at 11am. Had the Empress Pork lunch. It came with an eggroll and soup- I chose hot/sour soup. They were offering dine in seating with tables appropriately spaced. Plastic barrier between counter and staff. Staff wearing masks. Pleasant greeting and easy to order. Food delicious! Nice crispy eggroll, soup had the heat I like, generous (plenty for 2 adults) main dish. The pork had delightful crunchy batter- light, crisp and all around yummy. Fluffly fresh fried rice. It will become a staple for me. Less than $10 (I had bottled water too) enough for 2 meals, ready quick, extensive menu, close to work. Yay!!! *p.s. We had a delivery from Door Dash that was pretty bad. I think due to being cold and mushy upon arrival so not necessarily blaming Mr Eggroll. But- we will definitely eat in, or pick up ourselves going forward.

I had heard this place was decent, so I decided to try it tonight, and wow, was I disappointed. I ordered the Mongolian beef and crab Rangoon. The total was $14.35, which seemed insane to me, but thought maybe it would be an outstanding meal. Just the opposite.. the food was not good, there was sauce spilled all over, there were hard pieces of noodles and fatty beef that I could not eat (as well as the crab rangoons that were not filled very well) and the egg roll was tiny. I will never go back and would not recommend this place to any friends or family.

Oh my word!!! The best Chinese food in the midwest!!! The rice was fresh the 🥦 beef was phenomenal! I never had broccoli beef without having to add soy sauce since I was a child! The beef egg roll looked more like a spring roll buy still sooooo flavorful!! The crab ragoon was creamy!! The potstickers were dry but very yum!! Moo goo gai pan was delightful fresh ingredients. The spicy hot oil was perfect!! The hot and sour soup was spicy but fresh. The egg drop soup was the clearest most flavorful best tasting I have ever had! Great job Mr. Egg Roll!!

I eat here all the time. I have never had a bad experience with the staff or any of the food. Its not super upscale, but it doesn't need to be! The Mongolian beef is my favorite and I love their Crab Rangoon. I've looked at some of the reviews and I'm not sure any of those people have actually eaten here. This is American Chinese, Mom and Pop. The building is old and not what you'd call impeccably decorated, but that does nothing to change the food. It's delicious, it's fast. You get an amazing amount of food for your money and the woman working at the front is always nice and greets us with a smile. I love it! I'd recommend it...

I ordered the same thing as the person unhappy about the rice. The sesame chicken was good, the rice was awkward… that’s the best way I know how to say it… to the American brain it just looks so randomly plated, kind of a small amount. They could definately spruce up the fried rice. Maybe form it from a cup. The way it’s plated gives the impression of haphazardness as it doesn’t fit the size of the plate. The fried rice also seemed to be white rice with a tiny bit of soy sauce and a tiny bit of egg. Was pretty plain…. Not gross just plain. Would eat here again as the entree was delicious… review meant to be...
