Good! Went for lunch at noon. They have refreshed a former Village Inn. Bar seating as you walk in the door, then 2 separate dining areas on each side.

Chips and salsa free to start- says in the menu first 2 bowls on them, $2.99 after that. Loved the salsa. Kick without burning heat. Thick but not chunky. Nice crisp chips.

Extensive menu! Like 12 pages extensive. I went for the Texas Fajitas- 1/2 lunch special for $9.50. Had steak, chicken, shrimp. 2 flour tortillas, beans, rice, salad, sour cream came on the side. Fresh green pepper and onion. It was nice that the veggies retained some color and crunch. Lots of times overcooked and just a swampy mess. Ratio of meat to veggie great. The chicken and shrimp were good. The steak in mine was all gristle. So hence the loss of a star.

Friendly service. Clean environment. Employees masked.

Definitely will go back- many items on the menu...

Food had great flavor, It was fresh, the fajitas at most restaurant is normally a LOT of veggies n low amount of meat. Primos was balanced if not had way more meat than veggies which is good.

Only negative is service was very slow. There might have been 3 total tables eating while we were there. Got sat down n got offered no waters. Had to go find another server to get choriqueso ordered.

Once food finally got ordered everything tasted great but service wise outside of getting our food and drink we never got checked on for refill or another margaritas till we were about that which at that point we figured just ask for the check because it'll be another 10mins till we see them.

Food...

Iowa ... Mexican food hummm? Well I am in Iowa so don't expect San Diego type Mexican food flavor. I will say you get a lot of tasty food for the price so value Plus. Otherwise for my taste just kind of bland. Salsa is good, again my taste is looking for a lot more heat or even some heat. The chips were fresh hot and delicious. I got a seafood chimichanga and it was loaded with crab and shrimp but otherwise good. They have a vast selection, huge beers I know cuz that's what I tried :-) The flavors are fit for a midwesterner but certainly not a southwesterner. Places clean but dated but the staff is super friendly. Great place to take the family and not spend a lot...

Incredible food! We ordered online for pickup which was super easy to get through the website for ordering.. The guac is amazing! So many different tastes in it. I ordered 3 Carnita Tacos. The meat was juicy and meaty, definitely the best Carnitas I have ever had! My fiancé had the Monster burrito. It was huge and very filling. He loved it. My fiancé was also the one who went in to pickup the food. He stated that all the employees were welcoming and kind! We will definitely be coming back to eat in the restaurant rather than takeout next time for the full affect!
