I go to Scooterās religiously and love all locations. Never had any negative experience until today. Girl had an attitude as soon as I started ordering. She butchered some of my drinks but no big deal, I assumed it was just harder to hear with all the outside noises. I ordered 5 drinks, 2 of the drinks were the same. When I got to the window, she handed me 4 drinks. I was trying to flag her down at the window but she disappeared so I went to the drive thru again.
Two things couldāve happened here. If she didnāt hear my order correctly and only charged me for 4, cool- Iāll place another order. If she charged me for 5, also cool- Iām just trying to get my 5th drink. Told her at the drive thru I ordered 5 drinks and Iām missing oneā She didnāt hand me a receipt the first time so of course I had no idea if she forgot my drink or if I needed to order another drink. Either way was fine and I was polite through and through. Nope, didnāt offer a solution and instead gave a snarky āNo you didnāt. You ordered 4 and you got 4ā response. Whatever, Iām not gonna sit and argue at a drive thru so I still placed my order. When I got to the window and she handed my last receipt and said āHereās proof you ordered 4 drinksā like I accused her of any wrongdoing. I didnāt bother saying anything else because why argue with someone who only wants to be right! The nasty attitude was unnecessary and gross especially when this was easily fixable. I hope you have a...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter coming from the other Scooters on E. Euclid, I decided to try this one for some to go coffee! But they told me they didnt have any available. This is my review that I left on the other Scooters: I'm deeply frustrated because, once again, the fast food sector has let me down, and this time, it's the coffee industry's turn. I was in desperate need of coffee for a late-night meeting with around 20 people. As I sat in my car, pondering which coffee shop could provide coffee for catering on the go, it hit me: "Scooter's Coffee! Of course!" Among all the places I considered, Scooter's came to mind first. I could've opted for Starbucks, Panera, or Dunkin' Donuts, but I chose to head to Scooter's drive-through instead. To my dismay, they didn't offer gallon-sized coffees to go. I was astounded. "Are you serious? A coffee shop that doesn't provide 1-gallon coffee to go?" At a moment when I most needed it, the coffee shop disappointed me. I ended up having to buy coffee from a supermarket. It baffles me why a coffee shop would choose not to offer bulk coffee to go. It's a significant missed opportunity...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame thru this morning to grab my coffee on my way to work when I ordered my regular that I always do at any scooters locations and it is a cold brew with my 6 cream and 6 splenda and expresso shot and I added a Pretzel snackers. They said over the speaker 18.80. I got up to the window and the girl said that it was 18 dollars. I said what did I order for 18 dollars. She repeated my order back to me and I said that is right she said that they were charging 1 dollar for every cream added to the drink. I said I get this drink everyday at the indianola location and they charge me $7.64. How is it that your location is charging me $6 dollars for cream. I felt like I was being punked. I said that can't be right so they got someone else to come to the window and that person had short hair with long hair and told me I can remake it with less cream but we charge 1 dollar for every cream that we put in or I can cancel the order. Scooter's I spead money everyday at your locations in the des moines and indianola market and you should be ashamed of yourself on charging 1 dollar each...
