Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Kent

I would give -10 stars if possible. This was our go-to delivery for several years, despite the several major mistakes they have made (once our pizza literally had toppings on only one side!). The final straw was that recently, on a Friday night we ordered online (as we always do) 2 pizzas and an order of wings. The online timer said it would be 1.5 hours, no problem. Its a Friday, we understand. After 2.5 hours we started to get upset and tried to call the location for answers. NO ANSWER. We called the dispatch, then were forwarded to the corporate line, which did not have any avenue for issue resolution. THE NEXT DAY we called the store and finally spoke to someone. After asking why we didn't get our food the person on the phone impetuantly answered "we were busy". SERIOUSLY??? Yeah, I imagine you were busy on a Friday night, but that does not make it okay to just not fill an order without any sort of communication to the customer!! We paid over $50 for that order which NEVER ARRIVED. And instead of some sort of communication saying that our order could not be filled for whatever reason, we were still charged the $50+ dollars and received NOTHING! We had to call back the next day to demand a refund for the food we never received. Even then, whomever was on the phone acted annoyed and irritated that we wanted our money back for an order WE NEVER RECEIVED. Again, when we asked why we did not receive our food, the person on the phone said "we were busy".

So, not entirely bad, but troublesome enough that I wanted to share. Last night, I called in and placed my order over the phone. The guy who took my order was mumbling, but we bumbled through and got my order placed. He was helpful, but communication was a bit of a struggle. When I arrived shortly after 8:30pm, there was on car parked right in front. Next to that car was a homeless guy, just standing there. About 20 feet to the left of that was a group of roughly 6-8 homeless people congregating. If you're comfortable with that, you're experience will be better for picking up food than mine was. That was just environmental, but beyond that, the pizza was a huge disappointment. In all fairness, it's been a few years since we've had pizza here. Everything was made with the correct ingredients, looked great, and was timely, alas, it wasn't great. It was undercooked, didn't have a nice pan crust that I was looking forward to experiencing, and the dough itself was sweet. The bottom of the crust had no crisp to it and it wasn't cooked all the way through. I realize that I was pacing in your front window, to make sure none of the locals decided they needed to inspect my car, but that doesn't mean to take my pizza out before it's done. At the end of the day, I've had better pizza's out of the freezer case at Safeway. That's sad, because I was really looking forward to the crisp, savory pan pizza...

I never even got my order! My phone died right before the delivery arrived (totally my fault) so I missed the delivery notice, but when I tried to call the store 5 mins later when my phone chargers enough to turn back in, i just reached an international call center. They said they could transfer me to the store but after trying THREE times at around 8:00pm and waiting on hold over 10 minutes each time, I gave up and called the main corporate number instead to just request a refund. Low and behold it was another call center and even they couldn’t give me a refund or do anything to help me!! They said someone would email me within a day or two and here we are four days later and I have no refund, no communication, nothing. I am so frustrated and I just would like a refund for an order I never even received! It’s terrible service to not be able to speak to someone in a store to resolve an issue like this. It’s frustrating to have to call and email and communicate so many times to get a refund!! Overall we love your food but the service made this a terrible experience. Not sure if or when we will ever order Pizza Hut...
