We met a group of friends here. Apparently, the 6 of them waited 15 minutes before anyone greeted them and took their orders. By the time my boyfriend and I arrived (~20 minutes later) they were still waiting for their drinks, so my boyfriend ordered straight from the bar. We felt kind of bad enjoying our drinks because at this point our friends had waited over 30 minutes and still hadn't been served yet. Eventually, their drinks came and a nice server who was off-the-clock decided she would take everyone's food orders to help our server along. The food didn't take long to come out, but it was really blah... underwhelming. Even for bar food. The only time we saw our server after the initial round of drinks were dropped off was when we were checking out. Thank goodness for the server who was working off-the-clock. She got our food orders, ran our food to our table, got us re-fills, and our checks. I was really disappointed to find out that she would not be getting any of the tips from our table. She did all that work so she deserved all the tips. I believe her name was Shelly!!! Wellman's gets an extra star for her!!! I've been a server/bartender so I get that it can be overwhelming, but the original server assigned to us only had 3 tables...Thanks, Shelly for ensuring our experience wasn't a complete disaster! I will never...

I had food and drink here. The drinks were a strawberry mango mule and a fruit smash, both were very good. My wife had a pineapple mule, also very enjoyable. The food had by my wife and I was mediocre at best. We started with pretzel sticks, the pretzels we pretty good, the cheese sauce seemed like something out of a nacho cheese pump, it distracted from the pretzels. I had the Tommy B Tenderloin (breaded) it had good flavor, it was very small for tenderloin standards, barely covered the bun; it was pounded a bit too thin and was somewhat dry. As I side I paid a $1.99 upcharge for Mac and cheese; it was very bland, almost flavorless, a major disappointment. My wife had the Caprese chicken sandwich with tots. Again, the sandwich had good flavor. However, the chicken was small in size, did not cover the entire bun, and was thin and a bit dry. The tots were decent with a nice crunch but had a lukewarm temperature. The service was excellent, we are debating whether to give them another try. This was our first visit to Wellman's. The picture is a drink on the menu; we did not try it, but it sounded good and we...

Went there last night for my birthday, the waitress was nice enough at first, but when me, my sister, and mom went to the bathroom (we left all of our stuff at thw table with my father) she came up to my father and harrassed him about how she needed a credit card on file in case we tried to leave and when he said he didn't have one she told him that they would have a problem and they might have to talk to the bartender. Mind you we were not even in the bathroom for 5 minutes. Our bill was 17 something and we gave her 18 dollars and when she was cashing us out she came back over and told us that there was only 18 dollars so she thinks we forgot to tip her, my father then told her that since she was harassing him, she was not getting one (you have to be treating us really poorly to not get a tip because we understand that these people tend to rely on tips for income) and she told one of her other waitresses to remember our faces, so they did not tell us we are banned, but they...
