Burger King — Restaurant in Detroit Lakes

Hours of operation showed drive-thru being open until midnight. I was in line at the drive-thru at 10:57pm. The parking lights went out at 11. Odd, since hours of drive-thru said to be midnight. Either way, I waited. When I had arrived there were 2 people ahead of me to order, and one of them was pulling a boat. So, the line wasn't that long. When I got to the speaker to order I was told they were closed, and that the vehicle ahead of me was the last one. I told him I was in line before 11:00, but he didn't care. He then proceeded to tell me that what they had in front of me will already take them 20 - 25 minutes. Seriously?! I could go to a nice restaurant (sit down, or take-out) and get my food quicker than that! Correct me if I'm wrong, but Burger King is still considered "fast-food", right?! If ur no longer going to take orders from anymore customers, maybe you should have gone outside and put out a cone behind the last vehicle that u planned to take an order from. I still can't get over the whole 20-25 minute comment. Worst customer service ever! Oh wait, what am I talking about, there wasn't any customer service!! Good luck to anyone that trys...

Honestly the app suck and the employees sucked even more at the location. The location was dirty people were helping customers and not washing hands before touching product. I called and ask for help getting a refund and the lady said she couldn’t help and refused to give me a refund argued with on my opinion on cleanliness. I didn’t get my food and got charged on top of not being provided any help. I open the app to try to cancel it since we didn’t get our food and the app kept kicking us out. Honestly my first using the app and this crap happens with zero help from support. I’m out 15$ of food I didn’t even receive. I recommend going in to a store and seeing how clean it is before you order. I asked for a managers name and was told “ idk we have a lot of managers” 1. I didn’t ask how many I just wanted 1 managers name to contact and 2.why are they so rude. Linda the lady who answered the phone was rude, disrespectful, honestly should find a new line of work if this is how she conducts...

A very nice fast food place and yes the lobby was open and staff looked full staff and very excellent service. The whole restaurant clean. There were lots of customers too it was a busy noon time. I ordered a large coffee with my meal the woman helping me at counter said she would get me a fresh coffee and did just that so I didn't have to pour my own at drink station. . We got our food to go and ate at table by the public beach at the lake. The food stayed hot and everything we ordered was there. I thought the new paper large coffee cups flimsy especially for ride in car so be very careful. I miss the big styrofoam large coffee cups they used to have at BK. My onion rings tasty and I got zesty sauce which was spicy hot which I like. My original chicken sandwich delicious and lots of fresh lettuce with just right amount mayo not stingy on mayo. It was a nice place to stop to eat by the lake. I haven't been to BK for awhile and this BK in Detroit Lakes...
