THE NINES — Local services in Detroit Lakes

I have shopped at Nines in person and on line numerous times and have been happy. I ordered on line and was shipped. I took vacation for over two weeks and decided I didn’t like the products. Not because of the quality. Brought back to the store to return (I do not live in DL). They wouldn’t let me return because I was passed 15 days! I then asked for a store credit and they wouldn’t do that. Attendant had the supervisor come over and she said they don’t take back after 15 days because of their turnover in merchandise. The merchandise that I purchased was still on the floor. I was very disappointed. I won’t be shopping at the Nines. A 15 day store policy for a return or store credit is not...

Stopped today for their “save a buck” event hoping to snag an item that sold out super quickly the first shipment. Saw Lauren(the owner) but didn’t want to bother her as she had a handful of merch she was putting away, so I grabbed another associate to help me (who in turn had to ask Lauren anyway). Lauren literally stopped what she was doing to go and grab one of the last remaining items from their inventory so I could go home with it. I’ve always loved the store and the atmosphere, but Lauren is just a top notch owner and worker. Felt so loved an appreciated with all the work the ladies did today! Very cute clothes. But it’s very disappointing to see how the “curvy” clothes are displayed. Shoved in the back like they are trying to hide clothing over a large. The selection is also very disappointing compared to the clothing large and smaller. It’s nice to see extended sizes but still disappointing. I had a very difficult time finding anything in my size that wasn’t trying to completely cover every inch of my body. Staff was alright but looked me over and didn’t really offer much assistance.
