Brix Wine — Restaurant in Detroit

Extremely pleased with this wine bar.

I live for my red wines and love a great vibe at any wine bar. My two girlfriends and I decided to try this place out on a Friday night and were pretty impressed. When we walked in, we were taken aback by the atmosphere simply because it was PACKED and this location isn’t big at all. We couldn’t find anywhere to sit and the bar was full. Because of this, we stood for a minute until the bar opened up w/ one seat and we finally were able to look at the menu. So many wine options! And their food menu consisted of a variety of meat, cheese and cracker trays. We order two bottles of wine and three of the various trays. They were so filling; it was like we did not need actual food. I recommend this place to anyone on the Detroit area! It’s like a hidden gem located in a quieter part...

I arrived right at opening and was kindly met by the owner, Mikiah. I have several Airbnb’s in Detroit and always welcome guest with a complementary bottle. Not being a wine drinker I turned to Mikiah and she recommended a affordable rose!

My 1st time and I was very impressed with the layout, design and the large selection of wine.

Parking was a breeze and the Rivertown area is family friendly.

I highly recommend you stop by and visit Brix!

PS is you are a yarn person peek in the establishment next door. I love walkable areas with option for spending $$.

Amazing charcuterie boards and wine selections. I seriously dream of this wonderful place. I've been here twice in the last two months and plan to be back soon. Staff is very nice and attentive. The atmosphere is cozy, and laid back but still very sophisticated and beautiful. Lots of seating whether you have a handful of friends or just a pair of people on a date....
