Clique — Restaurant in Detroit

Absolutely not as expected as folks made me think it would be. Extremely small & since it's a pandemic I would highly recommend that this place get checked out for consumer's health reasons as well as the staff. The walk way is very narrow even the waitresses/busboy's have to move thru the isle sideways because if not they'll either drop their tray or dishes or either knock over yours trying to squeeze thru it. I had a booth there and this experience I am speaking on was what I observed while waiting for my food to be serviced. The food wasn't all that it was cracked up to be. But the staff were highly pleasant and respectful. Around the restaurant they have some memorabilia and one that stood out to me was a review from our Detroit's own native reporter Carmen Harlen She gave it an great review but I'm sure this was over 10yrs ago. Because if she saw it today I don't think she'd even stay there for any form of service. My advice go at ur own risk... I would highly recommend that you go alone and not during rush hour's as well as not bringing any elderly ppl or children. Since upon me being there it was a early morning rush. One star is my rating and if I could rate it lower it would be a negative 2 stars due to the over crowded patrons during this horrendous...

I used to absolutely love this place. The food is great wait staff is awesome however the manager of this place is rude and disrespectful. I normally eat at clique about three times a week sometimes alone but most times with family or friends I will no longer visit this establishment. I am only one person but the treatment I received today was rude and unnecessary. I ordered a meat skillet with American cheese it was made with cheddar I was going to try and eat it that way but it made it dry and not to my liking. I only took one bite. The waitress came and took the plate and then came back and said my manager doesn't want to remake your food he will take it off the bill but won't remake it then said he Doesnt want to make anything else for the table. I asked to speak with the manager he then said he wasn't coming to talk to me. I didn't make a scene o didn't say anything I just got up to leave. The fact is although I'm one person my business was a part of the success. I will be sure to tell everyone how rude and disrespectful the manager is. When I have been there in other visits he was rude to others even staff but no one says anything to him but I will carry the message and encourage all that I have influence with not...

It's been 4years since I've been here since the last visit was subpar. Well I must admit nothing has changed for the better. The wait system of name on lined paper and your name is OK I guess for a small establishment however not keeping the order is not cool, especially when the waiting area is the front door.

Don't look for any smiling faces because I didn't see any. The basic hello and are you ready to order is all you will get.

The old coffee guy has been replaced by a not so attentive person I believe that doesn't speak English. My waitress took my order, another waitress brought most of my oder minus my pancakes, then the original returned with pancakes and my check! A check before i take a bit means were all set with you. One napkin provided and had to wait for 2nd cup of Joe.

Food was decent and hot. The pancakes used to be very tasty but they taste different. Bacon very choice.Eggs cooked to perfection. Table too cluttered.
