On July 22 I placed an online order for hummus and lamb and I accidentally placed it at the Jefferson location. Once I paid online I realized my error while looking at my confirmation email. I called back immediately to cancel the order. The young lady I spoke to asked for my information and my order number, which I provided. She was able to find my order and told me no problem we will cancel this order and return the charge. I placed the same order at the correct location. NOWToday (7/27), I checked my bank statement to see if the return charge had been applied yet (I gave it a few days) and it had not. I called the Jefferson location and spoke to the manager. He abruptly interrupted me and asked how I placed the order. I told him I placed the order online. He said he was sorry there was nothing he could do about it. The manager told me that it is there system that would not allow him to go back to closed orders. I said okay but I have paid for an order that I was told was going to be canceled and refunded to my card. He said no there is nothing I can do. Then he said, " if you called that day I could have done something and next time try ordering at the right location." I told him, "Well I did call back immediately and was told it would be canceled and obviously ordering at the correct location would have been optimal. But, I made a mistake." The manager was rude and offered no helpful solutions. I am not running a scam. I have both confirmation emails from the Jefferson location and the Piquette location back to back. If I had known they were not canceling my order like I was told they would do, I wouldn't not have order the exact same order at the other location. I will not every order from this location again based on misinformation and rude customer service from the manager. The company I work for order weekly from the franchise and I would not have expected to encounter such strong resistance over a simple mistake. He didn't over me a credit or anything. This was disgusting and unacceptable!! However, the way Bucharest “tried to accommodate us” made this the WORST experience EVER! Their lack of customer service and rudeness caused the most frustration, inconvenience and dissatisfaction.
At first, they insisted that we drive to the restaurant to get our refund, since this is their policy to make sure their drivers won’t get robbed.
After I explained that we were inconvenienced and having to leave the office would cause an even greater inconvenience, they agreed to bring us our money back, minus the delivery and tip fee.
Also, when I called to explain the situation, the owner hung up on me and when I called back, I was informed that he was on an important conference call. I guess pleasing your customers are not top priority nor more important than anything else. Our company gives Bucharest a TON of business on a daily basis, but I am doing everything in my power to let everyone know the horrible experience I had, so they will know what to expect when placing an order with Bucharest! I used to be a regular customer, now I will NEVER eat here again, even if they paid me! Seeing a BUG or BUGS in your food is a SICKENING experience I will NEVER forget!!

Ive been a fan for years, but now have to Duke it out with management over lettuce which is the cheapest and most wasted product in the restaurant. Or whats the difference between a small and large cause it seems to me the container, not portion. Im now so tired of the battle. I ordered a large chicken shawarma salad. A large salad is really small, but put in a larger container to appear to be more. The meat portion is the same as a small. I asked for extra lettuce with at an additional cost of course. My order is always the same. Large chicken shawarma salad with meat on the side, pita chips separated so they stay crunchy, and extra lettuce. I use to not be able to eat a large in one sitting, so ill preserve the rest for later. But you see the pics. Hell I barely have any lettuce then it's the root portion (bitter garbage), no green leafy lettuce. The greenish portion of this salad is the bell peppers. I have to buy a bag of salad to make up for what's missing. I was better off just buying the meat and making my own salad. This is a love hate relationship cause I keep telling myself they just made a mistake next time it will be right. Just give me my 6pk shawarma my salad days are not worth the cost or errors.
