The food did not disappoint. There is something for everyone here. From pork belly to shrimp to chicken or beef or tofu you can't go wrong. They have a couple vegan options also. The pictures are of the Pad SI U and the shredded pork red curry. This place gets really busy at dinner and the line begins to form out the door. There are some bar seats and some communal ( sharing) tables as well (3 of them?) But only about 7 smaller tables for intimate setting meals. They are all lined in a row along the side of the restaurant. There is also only one toilet and unfortunately there is a table that sits right outside of it. So, not only do you get the uncomfortable atmosphere of a line queuing beside you while you eat, but you possibly also get the enjoyment of knowing which Patron ate what meal as they whaft by you one after the other. Hopefully, you never end up in the seat by the Red Door. The seats by the window where we were seated were anchored to the floor and very firm and uncomfortable. They are the same Barstool type That you see in the picture here. However, they served their purpose and as busy as this restaurant gets, I did not feel the need to sit around and chitchat after eating. The Mochi was very interesting and very well made. It was not something I would ever order again, but my friend liked it and happily ate the whole thing. I didn't even know what it was when I ordered it so perhaps it is because I didn't expect the outside to be sticky. Either way, it was soft texture sticky rice dumpling around and ice cream filling. It was interesting and I'm glad I tried it. The plum wine is very sweet. Overall, this is a really good place to try if you're looking for a noodle place with authentic flavors. If you're not sure what you want, definitely ask the wait staff they are extremely helpful. Maybe look at the menu online before you go to get an idea of something that you may want to try. It is very flavorful and a good value for the money.

I made the mistake of assuming Johnny Noodle King was going to be a spot with legit Asian food. It might qualify for some, but not for this SE Asian. First off, for the non-locals, this is not located anywhere you can walk to easily from downtown hotels. You'll need a rideshare or rental car as it's in an industrial/commercial area. I was dining solo and was seated at the bar at about 1:20pm. Ordered not long after. The two apps showed up relatively quickly, but it took almost 40 mins for the noodle to arrive. The waitress even asked if I wanted the check, and I had to note I'd take it but I'm still waiting for my food! Bacon fried rice was so-so. Topped with pork floss and dressed with three cucumber slices, it was filled with bits of bacon and pork belly chunks. Rice stuck together in clumps though. I had them hold the corn. Gyoza order has five pieces. They are petit. Wrapper was tough on the edges and dry. Not much inside as you can see from the pic. Flavor was ok as there was more ginger vs pork. Tonkotsu - other than the 40 minute wait for something that should have been ready in 5, it was topped with a perfectly cooked egg and three slices of griddle seared pork belly (was super chewy, hard to bite through,) lots of bamboo and green onions. But skimpy on the mung beans. And the broth was not opaque or creamy as it should be. It was thick and oily, but it lacked the creaminess of a true Tonkotsu. All the above food and one green tea ran $45 after tax and tip. This is culturally appropriated gentrified Asian food. It isn't Ramen just because you're using the noodle. And it's no where near being Chinese, so don't classify it as such. Not worth the time to wait in line, but but you do you if this is what you're after. If you want real Asian food, find some place else. This ain't it.

My wife and I stopped in for dinner on a Sunday evening after visiting the MGM casino. The restaurant was crowded which was a great sign and there were only a few open tables. This place is a short drive from MGM and much better than the majority of restaurants in MGM. We normally only eat the traditional Ramen like Tonkotsu or Shoyu but we noticed the Red curry ramen on the menu and both of us ordered a bowl of it with pork belly and it was great. The broth tasted like a really good laksa noodle soup but in Ramen style, it had a great flavor and we really enjoyed it. We also ordered a pork gyoza and some Sapporo that was on tap, all of it was great. We don’t have any complaints about the food, beer or the staff, however the only complaint we do have is the amount of time it took to bring our ramen out. The couple next to us on one side, cancelled their order and walked out because it was taking too long. There was also a father and three small kids who asked for his order to be changed to carry out and told the staff it took too long. I’m glad we stayed because the Red curry ramen was super tasty, but I had to give this place 4 stars due to the wait for the ramen. I would still go back to this place again, but I’ll bring some friends and just be prepared to hang out and have some drinks while waiting for the ramen.

I took my niece here for here 16th birthday, the night before last; to her request. We've for a long time been fans of The Noodle King. From a time under 2 years ago where my jaw was wired shut, and I required the use of a walker-- to others in our group with more complex Dietary needs and requests, Johnny Noodle King and their ALWAYS, most lovely of staff are the absolute most accommodating. But, it doesn't stop there! the atmosphere is modern yet simple with a sense of elegance. If you still think that noodles are instant you're missing out, and this is the place you should be at! Like a fine wine, the food gains complexity and flavor with age, One should expect nothing less from a bowl of ramen! Ive had ramen all across America, it's among the foods I've searched out during business travels. I may be bias, but Johny Noodle King is my favorite, it is the best. There has never been a better noodle king, we have the best one. Other places they say "we have a noodle king" but it doesnt come close. They have a noodle prince. -Donald Trump maybe? (or probably just me) Specifically, some of my menu favs-so hard to choose- are The tender pork belly that just melts in your mouth, the chicken confit, I'm a YUGE fan of the tonkostu broth and yet they're all amazing, they even have mochi ice cream!

Went for dinner before a USFL game. We found a spot in their parking lot, and we're seated in a booth as soon as we arrived. The waiter was outstanding. Very personable. Drinks were great. Tried the strawberry lychee and makku passion fruit, both were great. For starters we tried the lobster Rangoon, karaage chicken, and torched mackerel. Mackerel presentation was fun. Torched at the table. Flavor was a bit fishy even with lemon juice, but was fine with soy and Wasabi. Chicken was tasty. I liked the Rangoon but others found it fishy. Unfortunately, none of us liked our noodles. Yakisoba was pretty flat, not dry, but no flavor. Needed salt for sure. Same issue with chicken Ramen. Not seasoned. Tasted like basic broth of bones in water without seasoning. Rich in fatty texture, but no flavor. The red curry was ok, the pork belly was cooked until totally dried out. The egg and crispy onions were tasty, but as a complete dish lacked on flavor. I don't know where they get their noodles, but we didn't find them to be great quality. Obviously, we are the exception to other people's experiences. Although reading other reviews I noticed people gave 4 and 5 stars while similarly criticizing the food and saying they didn't like it.

The first time I came here, I got the mackerel and shoyu ramen, which was overall really good, but this time I tried the $14 yakisoba and it was not worth it at all. There were maybe 4 strands of carrots and cabbage combined, the sauce was overly salty, there was a pool of salty liquid broth in the bottom of the bowl and there was a spoon even though in the description it says NO BROTH, the ramen noodles were barely stir fried, and it was covered in scallions like they were trynna hide the lack of carrots and cabbage. That's definitely not what yakisoba should be. I couldn't eat more than the broccoli lol. I know this place is mostly known for its ramen, and rightly so, but please either improve the yakisoba recipe or remove it altogether. Also, there was a piece of something on the broccoli, idk what it was but looked either like a fish bone or a brush bristle. As a side note, the counter seating had no back so the customer next to me who was already seated had to move his jacket from my seat and hold it in his hand or something because the seating was all stools, so there's no place to put your jacket if you get seated there, idk if that's a big deal or not but might be helpful to some.
