Mumbai Chai — Restaurant in Detroit

This Place does "Chai" right. The authentic "Mumbai Chai" transports you to fragrant Indian spice markets, it tastes strikingly similar to the tea I had on my travels backpacking in South Asia. It was great. Initially I walked in and was expecting some people from India, an authentic experience - but I was greeted by the kindest, short chubby little Chinese man. He offered me free tea, then told me I had to pay; fantastic way to bring in traffic.

Despite his oriental origins, the greeter/worker inside provided a 10/10 experience. A must visit for tea lovers and Indians alike!
