I usually don't leave negative reviews, but the treatment I received over the phone was unprofessional, rude, and not at all helpful. I ordered two smoothies and a salad under Lauren R, on 3/11/25.
I got an Island Surge (w/Strawberry), a Banana Nut (w/Vegan Protein & PB) and a Fresca Market Salad (w/extra strips, spicy cilantro, and bacon).
I sent my friend to go retrieve the items, and he came back with the with the wrong entree, a wrap. He said that when he arrived, my smoothies & the bag were all placed together, in a group, so he grabbed them. He went to the register, at the counter and said he was there to pick an order up. He said "I'm here to pick an online order up for Lauren R."
The woman told him he needed to wait until the order was done. A few moments later, the smoothies and bag was placed in front of my friend, on the counter and my name was called. My friend got the food, and left.
When he arrived here, the order was wrong. The smoothes were fine, but I ordered a Southwest Salad and got a wrap instead, with chickpeas and egg whites. By the photos, you can see I didn't order this. So I called the store, hoping to make things right.
This is where it went left. An incredibly rude employee answered, and when I explained the situation, she was quick to shift blame on to us. Saying it was our fault that we grabbed the wrong thing, not even allowing me to explain that my friend got the order directly from a worker. Whomever I spoke with was aggressive, argumentative, and didn't even apologize for the mistake. She repeated, multiple times, that we were to blame because we didn't grab the right item.
My friend said the bag, and two smoothies, were placed together in their own lane. So it would be impossible for any error, since he grabbed only the isolated items.
She just wanted to absolve all blame and directly say we were at fault.
And, I couldn't even speak to a manager about it. She said I had to call back on 30 minutes.
Honestly, I wouldn't have left anything if the employee I talked too wasn't so argumentative and rude. No apology, no trying to make it right, no questions on what I got. Just straight denying and no accountability. I spent nearly 40 dollars here.
Anyone wanting to visit this location - don't. Not if the employees are going to have attitudes and get pissy for THEIR own mistakes. Human error happens, and that's fine. But how it was handled, that's what I have...

On 7.30.25 at approximately 4:45 - 5PM, after waiting approximately 7-10 minutes for two female employees to finishing cleaning machines (even though they don’t close til 8), one of them came over to the computer, looked at me and didn’t say a word. When I asked “is it common for you not to greet customers” she walked away, told the other employee (allegedly the Store Manager - blonde woman with braids in a bun) who then refused to take my order. When I confirmed that I was being denied service, the "Manager" said it’s because I was being “rude” and I’m always “rude”.
Violet - It was the two women (one with long black braids and the other with blonde braids in a bun) that you had working yesterday around 5:00 PM at the New Center Beyond Juice. I knew she lied about her name by the way she said it and how she spoke to me. These are the same two women that I complained about on with my 5 STAR REVIEW roughly 4 months ago when I wrote "Great smoothies, HOWEVER, their manager doesn't run a tight ship. Customers who pay $9 a smoothie do NOT want to wait to be serviced at the convenience of your employees. Talking to friends, even when they are a paying customer, still shouldn't prioritize them over all other customers." On that occasion the same two women treated me poorly by making me wait an excessive amount of time for them to make my smoothies while they chatted with friends and other customers right in front of me, all while not working. I was a bartender for years, everyone is capable of working and talking at the same time.
MY 2 cents? The women you had working yesterday, should NOT work together again. They know me, I am in there all the time and I have my service animal with me, so they knew I was the one who complained which is why they refused to serve me yesterday citing "rude" behavior for simply asking why your employee was treating me the way she was.
On a lighter note, Christina is a great employee! Always smiling, welcoming, suggestive selling me on new menu items, and genuinely kind… she should be your store manager, not the woman I dealt with on 7.30.25.
I am requesting you review the video from 7.30.25 to determine exactly the way you are being represented by these employees who I believe are the reason Beyond has so many 1 star reviews since everyone else I have dealt with is...
Read moreOrdered two sorbet bowls and waited 40 mins for them. The cafe was dead and no one was there so I could understand if it was busy, but it was not. I was only one in there. Then, after I requested no Greek yogurt, it came with Greek yogurt. I asked the lady if I would have to wait 40 mins again and she said no they take 2 mins to make. I said then why did I have to wait over a half hour? She then said just throw it away and I’ll make you another.
I spent $45 to be annoyed. The food was mid at best. My mangos tasted like pine trees and were rock hard. Definitely room for improvement.
Edit to respond to owner:
Order was under Mike 11:11am on April 27th 1 smoothie and two fruit bowls. Pitaya and Cocnut blue one. My husband asked for no Greek yogurt in Pitaya and I asked for peanut butter instead of almond butter in coconut. Both of ours were screwed up and the older female worker was in back scolding the younger male because he didnt punch in our alterations. The older female was rude to every customer. We ordered food at 11:11 and didn’t get it until 11:45. I tried to ask for an update but the older female wouldn’t acknowledge I was standing in front of her. So my husband went and asked and we got our food shortly after. Then to have them both screwed up and more attitude from the older girl? Definitely a coaching opportunity in...
