This restaurant gives poor service all the way down from the manager to the cashier to the cooks. On any given day mostly every day this place does not have crispy breasts or crispy wings or any type of wings for that matter. We the customers in the lobby could hear the people in the back prepping the food till the cashier to stop selling so many wings because they were running out. Cashier always tell you that you have to have exact change. Why can't the manager make sure that there is enough change and single small bills before you start opening up the business that should be prepared the day before. Some days the music is so loud in there because they have their music so loud that you can't hear yourself talk or make a order to the cashier and sometimes the cashier cannot hear you because the music is always too loud in this restaurant. They close the drive-thru down daily, especially during rush hour which is the lunch hour when there's a hospital right across the street and you closed down your drive-thru in the lobby is completely crowded with no one can hardly get through the door. I know people are desperate to put bodies in their places of employment, but this is not a good fit for any restaurant the staff does not have any hand-washing skills food handler cards manager touching money and then going straight to food without washing hands. Staff members going from lobby to going back to the Cook area without washing their hands. Note: I love KFC crispy chicken, but I'd rather drive completely across town or even another city to get chicken before I stopped at this one again. Management and staff needs customer service skills classes food handler classes and money counting classes. Some of these cashiers cannot count money and some can't read and some can't tell time without looking at a digital clock. Therefore they make plenty of mistakes with people money because they depend on that computer that brings up the food and we all know computers can be wrong also. If you order chicken breast or chicken wings and the cashier rings it up once the order gets to the back instead of refunding your money they give you something that you don't want because they don't want to go through the bother of giving you a refund because it's too much trouble or they don't understand how to do it. This restaurant needs new managers, a total new crew that has to go through training in a fast food restaurant starting with food handlers, math test, customer...
Read moreDate of Visit: 4/5/2021 Time of Visit: 7PM Order: (1) Drum and Thigh Fill-Up Combo - Side of Mac & Cheese - Drink Pepsi (4) Famous Bowls - No Sweet Corn (4) Large Side Mac & Cheese (2) BBQ Chicken Littles Price: $40.80 + $9.29 Price Correct? Yes, corrected. Review: Drive thru experience was interesting. The cashier range up my (4) large sides of mac and cheese up as just regular sized, which caused a price discrepancy. Thankfully the manager i’m assuming caught the error in the order and required $9.29 in additional funds from me. I have no issue with this and I think the manager (slightly older gentlemen) handled the error perfectly. I would prefer to have to pay 2 separate charges than to have to drive back around because my order was taken incorrectly.
I was instructed to move up in the drive thru while they bring out my order, now this is typical at a lot of drive thru’s but it was a new experience for me having to pull up in a drive thru that is only one lane and wouldn’t let any of the cars behind me to leave after receiving their order. Upon waiting for too long, the car behind me getting anxious to leave, I left to pull back around into their parking lot again. This is not able to be done without making a right hand turn at the street, changing lanes all the way to the left, making a U-Turn at the next designated turning lane, making another U-Turn to which you now have to merge across 3 lanes to your right to turn back into KFC. Picture below shows diagram. This part was very inconvenient on my part, as staff instructions were unclear.
The food was great, meets all standards of KFC. The order was 100% accurate, and the removal of sweet corn from the famous bowls...
Read moreAfter an extremely long wait, the only type of chicken available for sale at dinner time was original chicken. Not a huge problem, at least there was chicken available on this visit. We were not told that they did not have biscuits and upon checking the bag, we discovered no biscuits and an order of gravy for which we had no use because we did not order any mash potatoes. So that was a comical item to find. The chicken was so over cooked and hard that the breast were shriveled up to the size of a thigh! We waited so long in the drive-thru that there was more than enough time to cook a fresh batch of chicken. We made a bad decision by giving KFC one last chance to provide anything close to what they advertise. On multiple occasions we were told there was no chicken available after waiting long periods of time, we were told that there were no sides left to sale with the incomplete order of chicken... On those visits, we observed the employee's standing around inside talking & the manager outside on the phone. Something needs to be done on a franchise level, this has happened from the Clinton Twp location to the Detroit location. Thanks KFC for advertising that your company has dinner covered but, No Thanks!!! Me and my family will definitely make other...
