Nicky D's Coney Island — Restaurant in Detroit

Neighborhood diner in the city. Parking options could use more signs on the side offering drive-through. Walked in and ordered at the window, she was pretty helpful in finding vegan options. Settled on the veggie stir fry, and it showed up looking and tasting better than expected. The side salad was basic, yet a lot of dressing was offered. Pita bread side was nice, glad it wasn't coated in butter. Telling the cook it was for a vegan patron probably helped. The table tops all lean like those waiting for orders have sat on them causing the tilt on each. It wasn't enough that dining was impacted. Sadly a guy came in off the street asking for help and collected more money than the person taking our orders. He was asked to leave after about 15 minutes...

I arrived here at 10:45 am I heard the employees arguing with someone and me knowing I was on a budget so I was trying to beat 11am price deadline so I am saying hello hello help please repeatedly so by the time they took my order it's now by my phone 11:54 am and they said their machine already switched to lunch price and I could afford it but they already prepared it and said that they would rather put in the trash than give me the morning price I left and cried because I am disabled and sometimes I can't prepare my own food the cook said there is no manager and put it in the trash right in front of me I just didn't have the money. I would never ever go...

I believe I was just food poison by this place I ordered a wing ding dinner last night and have been really sick ever since then. I only eat once a day. I called today at 5pm to warn them to be careful with others and the lady who answered the phone started yelling at me over the phone when I told her. She yelled called the manager in the morning and wouldn’t let me finish a sentence. From the other reviews I can tell they have a major problem here be safe people!!!!! I called the Wayne heath department as well as the Detroit. Please be safe people. They must not care about us. I should have not went in since it smells like someone pooped outside...
