I recently had the pleasure of attending a ramen cooking class with my son, a Wayne State Medical Student, who enjoy cooking. It was truly an incredible experience for us. The class was held in a beautiful kitchen with a warm, inviting atmosphere.
Our instructor was not only knowledgeable, but also very passionate about cooking. She was patient and approachable, and made everyone feel comfortable in the kitchen. She provided clear instructions and demonstrations, and was always available to answer any questions we had.
Throughout the class, we learned a variety of new techniques for cooking homemade miso ramen and gyoza It made us all excited to try out in our own kitchen. The instructor provided helpful tips and tricks that I wouldn't have learned anywhere else. One of my favorite parts of the class was the opportunity to work alongside the other participants. We collaborated and learned from each other, which made the class even more enjoyable.
To top it all off, we got to enjoy the delicious dishes we had created at the end of the class. The food was amazing, and it was a joy to sit down and enjoy it together as a group. Overall, I would highly recommend this cooking class to anyone who loves food and wants to improve their cooking skills. It was a fantastic experience that I will never forget! The owner Q, helped me to surprise my son after class with a basket filled with amazing essentials when he has a little break away from the books. What a beautiful, thoughtful and vibrant spirit she has. Truly grateful to have meet her and to be apart of such an incredible class. We look forward to joining more classes in the near future.
Kudos to Q's team, they absolutely rock!! May God...
Read moreSo good! So healthy! All day brunch on Saturday and Sunday is amazing. Friday nights are super fun. There is always a DJ from 4p-9p, and just the right kind of after work vibes. This is truly a place where vegans and meat-eaters coexist!
Everything on the menu is good, but let’s talk about some of my favorites… the vegan fish sandwich is AMAZING. Caprese Panini is amazing whether you get it with vegan chicken or regular chicken. The Oh Kale Yeah! Burger is a best seller. You can’t go wrong with the Chicken Pita (ask for it “all the way with both sauces” 😉) or a Chicken Caesar wrap (vegan or real chicken). The vegan mac & cheese and house potatoes are a great snacks or appetizers. The sliders are great and come in 3 options. You can’t miss with the tacos. The southwest eggrolls are to die for. All the salads are fresh and filling and have a protein option.
Brunch…I suggest The Que, apple pancakes and/or loaded grits.
All the smoothies are one-of-a-kind recipes (try the peach cobbler, no matter what time of year it is). The lavender lemonade is always refreshing.
Yes, I’ve tried everything on the menu!
They also just opened a bar! I’m a whiskey girl so I love the Crimson, which is a delightful play on an old-fashioned. The Espresso Martini is refreshing and delicious. If you like vodka, I suggest trying the Shine Bright. They also have a nice selection of wines including non-alcoholic options, as well as mocktails.
If you’re in Detroit and looking for healthy options the whole crew will love, you have to stop here.
They also offer cooking classes and meal prep!
Lastly, the staff is wonderful and everyone is friendly. All are...
Read moreI ordered 3 catfish slider meals with house potatoes, Mac n cheese, spicy chick pea soup and lemon pound cake $75 total & all of my items were not in the bag, again!
I had previously experienced the same thing last weekend after spending $140 only to get home and realize they forgot 2 items... no worries it happens right— wrong! Today the same thing happened— forgotten items so I decided to express my concern to the manager and she proceeded to over talk me and tell me how nobody’s perfect and constantly reiterated it as if she was a broken record or perhaps the extent of her vocabulary.
I must say I’m really disappointed by the service and also by the food—this time.
My lemon pound cake was burned badly and dry... it tasted much like jiffy mix cornbread and my potatoes were not completely cooked, very hard.
BTW I would like to make mention the manager kept asking what they could do to satisfy me and I suggested just a better QC process but she didn’t want to here that LOL, instead how about a lemonade. No I don’t want anything free— just do better! Then she reverted back to nobody’s perfect—smh.
Businesses come and go be open to criticism.
Update: you don’t listen well I said on the phone and I will say now your QC (Quality Control) process needs to improve, but since you kept over talking me and deflecting you probably missed that— further more I don’t want anything free. As a small business you can’t thrive giving things away for free. A better QC process is doing better—I hope you were able to comprehend...
