I still have no clue why you cant give a 0 on these reviews. Ive been going down here since I was 14. Not for my own medical needs but for school and I always loved the staff. Everyone saif hi and seemed nice so when I heard that I was going to the endocrinology department down there and working with Dr.S as my head provider over 2 years ago I was excited. I knew the area and building so it was easy to get to. Got my doctors note to see them and the 1st few months went well. I missed a follow up appointment where I was supposed to see if we were uping my dose of medication and to introduce me to my new doctors Id be working with along side Dr.S, since I missed it I had to get a new appointment set up and a new blood draw done. I missed the new blood draw by a day on accident, health issues and doctors appointments are daily for me lol, I message them as soon as I can and when I do finally go down to get my blood drawn the request isnt even in there! Ever since then it hasnt been in and ive always had to message them for it, or like this last time I had to walk down to my appointment and then walk to labs after that. They werent the fastest with messaging but they werent the slowest either but since... Trying to communicate with them when you have actual issues is like trying to talk to toddlers, you tell them and tell them the problem n its in 1 ear and out the other. They take FOREVER to message back even if you are currently having a massive issue that exclusively involves their department and jus generally dont care about or for anyone other than themselves. I love the blood draw/labs team down there though, they were always amazing, clean and quick. I never had issues with them jus the doctors who told me they sent in a request for my labs to be done. (Side note: I know theres a proper name for the request for labs I jus dont remember it) truly get your stuff together. If this is supposed to be our standard and we need to model our health care facilities off of we have more issues than health insurance.... I know personally id NEVER recommend here to anyone who needs help with their hormones or endocrine system in general, youd be better off going to your local meat head, pcp and google...
Read moreIâm a melanoma / skin cancer patient here. The Dr aggressively insisted that I get âmappedâ photos taken of my skin / body to track new melanomas / skin cancer. The Dr said itâs part of my care plan & she did NOT say anything about my insurance would not pay for it, or if her office staff codes the insurance invoice wrong for just taking a couple photos, then I have to pay out of pocket & if I donât pay even after her staff lied to me on 2 separate occasions, that they will destroy my credit score. Well, my insurance would not pay $50.00 to have some photos taken of me. So Henry Ford sent me a bill for $55.00 I called the Drâs office 2 different times to explain the Dr wanted the photos taken, it was not my request to have photos taken, & the Dr or any of her staff didnât say I needed to pay out of pocket. The Drâs office staff said on 2 different phone calls âDonât worry about paying the $55.00 billâ 1 week later, the Dr sent this $55.00 bill to a collection agent. So now my credit score is downgraded. I work very hard to keep a good credit score. The Drâs office staff & Henry Ford billing department will flat out lie to your face & tell you âDonât pay the bill we sent youâ itâs ok we will take care of it. Henry Ford, this Dr & her staff will destroy your credit score over a $55.00 bill. They will flat out lie to your face. Is this how Henry Ford treatâs cancer survivors?? Send a cancer survivor a $55.00 bill, tell them not to pay it because your going to fix it, then send the $55.00 bill to a collection agent / debt collector so the cancer survivorâs credit score is adversely effected! ?? Reading all these other 1 star bad reviews, makes me think this Dr & her staff probably needs to be under review for becoming disbarred or maybe a class...
Read moreI love the Henry Ford Health System, it is truly amazing. I visit with them regularly as my husband and I are expecting our first child together, we decided to go with the Henry Ford Health System for Pre-natal care. My mid-wife Dr. Charly Snow is awesome. Everytime I call the office, I am able to speak with a nurse and if not I can expect a call back or an answer on Mychart. Unfortunately, the reason for my 1 start rating falls on that of the Ultrasound Department. The Henry Ford Health System hires and is often represented by individuals who demonstrate the utmost respect and professionalism. However, every visit to the Ultra sound Floor in the New Center One building is not reflective of such sentiment. Starting with All of the intake receptionist, they are often rude, short tempered and seem to be miserable. This does not represent the practice well. I work in the field of customer service, so I give a ton of slack to anyone who has to deal with people all day. I even schedule, my appointments early in the morning so that on the off chance I may catch them in a better mood before the stress of the day takes over. I have a stubborn little baby growing inside me so we've had to make several visits to get certain images and etc. And each time before and after I dread having to interact with the staff at the intake window. I just want to warn others, because what should be a joyous occasion of seeing how well my baby has progressed is often dampened by my interaction with these ladies. Aside from the lack of maturity and professionalism demonstrated by the receptionist team, on more than one occasion. This place is A great place to receive health care. ...
