Reception desk African-American girls looked awkwardly lazy and boring and confused in serving as if not interested in the job, quite not ready to serve right the moment guests approach - or as if they require incentives upfront in becoming ready to serve. This was not quite expected in the Lighthouse. May be they were tired or bored or something going on in their minds that might have disturbed to attend approaching guests happily. We'll go there next time and see if they are not the same as they seemed this time.

But as we got the table, the lady serving inside was just the opposite of what we saw and felt at the reception desk outside. We were promptly greeted with admirably awesome smile and she helped us some foods from the great deal of foods menu and selections they serve.

I personally liked chicken wrap, just the taste of mine. My kids liked to have some bites from mine too. They served draft beer that day since the bottles or cans were out and I chose one of my favorites. The service was really great. We were asked if we were okay, or whether we liked the food, or if we needed anything else every often. This is the best way to treat guest regardless of who they are and where they come from. The smile at the serving lady was worth praising her. I believed she was the only one the entire Lighthouse depends on and should promote.

Most importantly, you will enjoy the beach view. The Lighthouse is just sitting on the water. You are literally having your table just over the beach water. We stayed about an hour and we loved to be there again. The main inviting factor is the pure view of the lake, admirable service inside and the taste of food and the ice-cold draft beer.

We had a parasailing in there. If you like, you can have speedy boot or boats for picnic in the water. You can rent Jet-ski in here just under $80 for half an hour. We also saw some families hooking four speedboats side-by-side and having a large family water picnic in there. It's just awesome!

An incredible place to sit and quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger enjoy a beautiful view around the beach and have fun afterwards in water. Our just the...

I was there at the Lighthouse in Dewey Saturday night with a group of my college friends and parents.. There were 9 of us!! Amazing view, Kristina was the absolute greatest server I and we have ever had ( went out of her way to make us feel at home and gave us locals must see places we need to visit before we leave Tuesday! ) , the food was great ( there was a hair in the Chipotle bowl but Kristina got a remake quickly and all was well ). We are from NY and have seen it all ! Well thought we have seen it all. Yesterday's experience had us all talking all night and all morning. I called and left a message but I feel like what I have to say needs to be heard by all !!! IT IS NOT OK TO ABUSE YOUR SERVER!!! We watched a big party with kids running all over the place get seated next to us! Kristina took a royal beating. We looked over when we heard yelling and screaming over being sat at dirty tables then the man rubbed money in her face and told her to do her job . Absolutely uncalled for. I would of punched him in the face but she pressed forward and continued taking care of all her guest with tears running down her face. I applaud her and everyone should know it.. you have an extremely amazing employee and we will be back next year to see her! Just because you are out on the town or on vacation does not give you the right to treat people...

We came for lunch on a very cold and windy Saturday, walked inside the bar area and was immediately greeted by warm and friendly staff, said we could sit wherever we wanted so we chose a nice spot in front of the window facing the bay. Our server was Elizabeth who was also working the bar and she was absolutely phenomenal! She immediately walked over to us with waters and menus and got us our drinks right away. She also took our order the moment we were ready, we had the Steamed Spiced Shrimp as an app, the Cuban Sandwich, and the Stuffed Cobb Salad. Elizabeth made sure our app came out first with plenty of time to enjoy with our drinks and then spaced our lunch out so we weren’t bombarded with all our food all at once. She checked in on us frequently to make sure everything was ok and if we needed anything. She also provided us with some insight on their changing menu specials and plans for the upcoming season with warmer weather. The food was absolutely delicious, the service Elizabeth provided us was impeccable, and the view is amazing! Highly recommend giving them a try, and if Elizabeth is working, definitely ask for her but to be honest the entire staff all seemed very nice. We can’t wait to come back especially during the warmer weather to sit outside and enjoy...

Great views by the water, wait staff was busy but tried her best to check on us. Food was subpar in my opinion. My wife got a cobb salad and asked to remove the pork from it. You would think they would increase the quanity of other things but nah . In fact for 24 dollars this is the biggest ripoff I have ever seen. It's a flat plate l with hardly anything in it . Come on now, at least put it in a big bowl and fill the bowl up. On top of that my wife had to ask for more crab because it wasn't even in there. The waitress brought back a little condiment cup that was half filled with crab. Keep the change ya filthy animal. Just remove the crab and all the other stuff and charge for a basic cobb salad like 12 - 14 dollars. I got fish and chips, which was supposed to be "boardwalk fries" . Meh ... it was fries but more like McDonald's fries with less salt. Fish was two okay size battered pieces. For whatever reason they didn't really hold up well . They kinda fell apart when you tried to cut or tear them in half to dip them. Overall your paying for a great view and or easy location.

The Lighthouse is a great spot for delicious food, big portions, music, and a welcoming atmosphere. Overlooking the bay, and across the street from beach access, the Lighthouse is well positioned for a meal with a sunset view or a quick lunch during your beach day. Whether you’re wearing a swim suit or high heels, you’ll feel right at home. As I ate, I noticed that every single table had at least one person smiling, laughing, or showing some other sign of having a good time. The kitchen was extremely careful with my gluten allergy (I am celiac and extremely sensitive). I ordered the pulled chicken tacos with a side salad. They were so good, that I actually came back the next day and ordered them again! While there aren’t a ton of gluten free options, the waiters are knowledgeable about what is and can be made gluten free. Some other gluten free options on the menu included a crab soup, chicken soup, nachos, 3 other kinds of tacos, sautéed salmon, and various salads. I think everyone can find something here. All in all, it was a great experience and I will be back!
