Pull off the interstate no real place we were looking for just was a little hungry. Husband got a 1/3 lb. Bacon cheeseburger and I also got the same thing but I asked for mine to me very light mayo and add mustard cut in half. I already knew I wouldn't be able to eat it all in one sitting so cut in half would make it easier to deal with. We got the food right off made sure we had 2 burgers a fry and onion rings, good deal we had that. We pulled up to eat in the parking lot, I figured which was his and I got mine when I saw mustard peeking out the side. Well when I started looking at my sandwich 1st I noticed it wasn't cut, not good. But fixable, got a blade I keep in the car and cut it. Now when I cut that burger it was like cutting into a mustard bottle. It went everywhere. I had mustard on my tray we use for eating on when we travel, my hands, wrist, clothing I got napkin after napkin trying to stop my Berger from hemorrhaging mustard but I couldn't. Then my husband jumped in on the action, he put his stuff away, we have a new, new car and was trying to save me from being attacked. Everything that was put on that sandwich had safely slid off the meat and bun and onto my tray, fingers, hands, his fingers and hands, my dress and my leg. It was time say the least a MESS. I COULDN'T get cleaned up enough to go in and say anything. There were cars in drive thru and I did not want him to ruin his meal as well so I salvaged 2 bits and ate my onion rings, packed it back in its box and said Oh well guess I wasn't supposed to have that sandwich. But to their defense had it not been such a shy burger and tried to run away with the mustard I really would have enjoyed it, he sure did his. The final testing place for my burger came when we ch it home and he took my meat off and made him another sandwich with...
Read moreThis is not a fast food restaurant. It’s a hang out spot. I went in today during what I assume was shift change. I am the only customer in the building and waited 10min for my order to be taken.
About 4 employees siting in the lobby laughing and talking about how they want to party and switch shifts with their coworkers, but there isn’t coverage.
Probably another 4 employees hanging out in the back room behind the line. Employees racing each other to clock out on the “better/closest computer terminal to them”.
Meanwhile I’m still waiting to order. Shift manager(s) were present engaging in the mix. Food scraps sitting on an unoccupied table since before I walked in. 8 employees in the building and no one can take my order or clear off tables in the lobby.
Probably the same employees that complain about their pay and that they probably deserve $15/hr.
Food went up to the window and was announced by the cook. I think Isaiah (who seemed to be the only one working....give him a raise) was his name. Not a single person grabbed the order for another 10min.
No matter what the job pays, or even if you don’t like your job.....work you a$$ off. Be better than your coworkers and the management I saw today. You do not go to work to hang out.
Positive note: I turned it into a lesson for my 9yr old on what not today when he gets a his first job. ...
Read moreCustomer service is everything. My wife went to the Hardee's in Dickson, TN to get our supper for tonight. She is a very sweet, kind, and caring person. It pained me to have to hear talk about how she was treated by one of the employees. My wife went inside to talk to the manager about the attitude. The manager seemed to have the same type of attitude. Managers can usually set the tone for their employees, and from what my wife explained to me, this manager has set a tone of negativity for her employees. We won't be going back. By the way, someone needs to teach the cashier how to run a debit card and not act like it's the customer's fault. I can see why this particular Hardee's is only busy in the mornings. I'm guessing that staff has a little more class. Customer service is FREE! It's usually a good idea to use it, so you continue to have a job. If you don't like working at a restaurant where Customer service should be part of the job, then go work at a place where you don't have to interact...
