2 years ago and this would have been 5 stars. They were amazing. It was among my favorite eat in Mexican places around. Favorite salsa too. They even delivered my food by foot in a snow storm when my vehicle got stuck. Fast forward to now, and my most recent trip crossed this place off my favorite list. Last time I sat in, the menu was junked up with handwritten prices , which is unprofessional. Ordered takeout a couple weeks ago. The woman on the phone kept cutting me off and didn't understand what was trying to be ordered. She cut off before I could confirm. Sure, that's fine, until it messes with my food. When we showed up they wanted $45 for a quesadilla and a burrito. That's still fine, but it wasn't what I ordered. The guy insisted it was what I ordered with a smirk on his face. Kept repeating, this is what you ordered. They didn't want to fix it. Canceled the order, left, and got something identical for $20 at another place. The 2nd place had no issue understanding what I wanted. Total cost savings $25.
If you're going to charge premium prices you need matching customer service. That includes making sure the people taking orders can communicate properly with the locals and in a friendly manner. I need you all to hear this so you can make the necessary improvements. I will revisit this establishment in a month or 2 and change my rating if warranted.
Edit. Tried ordering again a few weeks ago but the same rude woman was indeed rude again. Why? Like why??? The food business is a hospitality business.
Needless to say, the parking lot now looks empty even during times when other Mexican places are jam packed. Food is decent at best but the value and the overall...
Read moreI just moved here from Texas and I’ve been searching for something close to the TexMex I love-plus a good frozen margarita. After being disappointed at 2 other places, I finally found a restaurant very comparable-Las Fajitas! I had (one of my usual’s) beef fajita quesadilla, queso and a frozen marg-no salt. I was extremely pleased! The queso wasn’t as thick as some in Texas, but it also didn’t become “hard” after it cooled. The quesadilla was HUGE-piping hot-and had so much meat in it, I was able to “make” a couple of fajita nachos I also love-AND take 1/2 the quesadilla home with left over pico and sour cream. (It came with a VERY generous portion on sour cream, guacamole and pico. Another thing I loved was that the complementary bowl of salsa (with chips) was big -so I didn’t have to ask for more. The frozen margarita was icing on the cake-I’VE FINALLY FOUND-the slushy, limey, strong enough-frozen margarita I’ve been looking for-for months! The service was awesome as well. If I could give this place 10...
Read moreThis use to be my favorite place, the salsa is still amazing as always. But our server yesterday was really awful. She argued with me when I ordered nachos over rice instead of chips cause chips hurt my teeth. It's an easy request they have been doing this for me for years and years it's not new . She acted like she didnt understand.(she did, and spoke clear english when the manager walked in..)She never refilled our cups. We had to remind her. She was pushy and rushed us. The other server who has been there a long time came to check on us because she saw how the other newer lady was so unpleasant she is great. Then to top it off, the unpleasent lady messed up our check ! She undercharged me after arguing with me over a price that was clearly on the menu and after she realized she was wrong after I paid over charged my friend to make up for her mistake even after being very clear on what...
