I am absolutely loving my planet fitness experience and I'm falling in love with the gym all over again! It's been several years since I had a membership to a gym, but the no commitment special made it so much less intimidating to try out. I paid for the Black Card Membership so that I could get all the perks and make going to the gym feel more like a spa luxury than a chore; and it has been amazing. The hours they're open are perfect for my schedule and they're never too crowded for my comfort. The bathrooms and locker rooms are clean and come equipped with huge mirrors and hair dryers, the showers are clean, and usually unoccupied, so I can shower and get ready for work after my morning workout. Once a week, on a rest day, I'll go in to get a tan or use the massage chairs. The staff has been super friendly and helpful as well. The gym itself is stocked with everything I could ever need to burn fat and build muscles, from stair climbers, bikes, ellipticals, and treadmills to free weights and weight machines and so many others that I don't even know yet. I plan on getting the most out of this gym and it has been seamless for me to add this into my lifestyle. I feel better than I have in a long time because I'm doing something that's going to benefit by...
Read moreEDIT‼️ THEY CANCELLED MY MEMBERSHIP AND I WAS BANNED FROM THIS GYM AFTER I WAS HARASSED BY THIS EMPLOYEE. FURTHERMORE, I STILL WAKE UP TO A $50 CHARGE AFTER BEING TOLD IM BANNED!!!! THIEVES!!! WORST GYM IN EXISTENCE ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️
ZERO STARS. I was working out at Planet Fitness and they hit the Lunk Alarm on me for supposedly “dropping” 40 lb weights — even though I was simply setting them down. Anyone who actually lifts knows that weights make noise when you’re putting in real effort.
I walked over and calmly asked if the alarm was for me. The employee said yes and accused me of dropping the weights. I explained that I wasn’t dropping them, I was just putting them down and they’re heavy. Her response? “Use lighter weights and work your way up if they’re too heavy.” That makes no sense. If I can lift them, they’re not too heavy.
I then asked to cancel my membership. Instead of helping, she raised her voice, refused to cancel it, and threatened to call the police if I didn’t leave immediately.
This was hands down the worst gym experience I’ve had in any state I’ve lived in. Completely unprofessional, hostile, and sexist. Avoid this location if you value respect, customer service, or basic common sense. Also, if you actually want...
Read moreI've been a member for about 6 months. I have a Black Card membership that gives me access to everything they have to offer. The hydrotherapy beds are great! I love that it's open 24 hours. I get off work at 1am and it's conveniently on my way home. It's rarely too crowded at any time of day and there's plenty of equipment. This location lacks some of the equipment that the larger locations offer but mostly it's just less of the same stuff. For instance,, the treadmills don't have built-in TV. The staff is helpful and friendly and it's clean and layed out well. My only complaint is the absence of free weights which is common to all Planet fitness locations as far as I know. Remember this is a "Fitness Center" not a gym but you can get a good strength training workout in here and it's affordable. I go almost every day and get my money's worth 10 times over. I would recommend Planet Fitness for beginners or intermediate Fitness junkies. I'm not "advanced" enough to say it works for everyone but for now it definitely works for me. 10 bucks a month or 23 bucks a month I believe and an annual fee of around 35 bucks I think. You can always go take a tour of the...
