I decided to try sushi and hibachi in Dickson today. I only ever eat it in Nashville, because I don’t trust Japanese food in Dickson. The restaurant itself is disgusting. It’s so filthy. Everything in that place is sticky, including the tables and chairs. There’s stuff splattered on the walls. I attached a photo of the soy sauce and salt/pepper shakers on the table. I ate my sushi without soy sauce because I wasn’t touching that thing. I was hesitant to eat my food at all because Lord only knows what the kitchen looks like, but I did, and the food actually tasted decent. Just hoping I don’t get sick from it. I think I’ll continue driving to Nashville when I’m in the mood for sushi or hibachi. Dirty restaurants are a huge turn off for me.

People that consider this 5 star sushi really need to get out more. Both the California and the Avocado Rolls look and taste prepackaged. Bland, even with Wasabi. The service was great and the price is definitely good but pallette-wise even the Miso wasn't good. Barely any tofu and served cool to the touch. Reading others experiences here actually had me hyped for good Sushi and I was highly disappointed. Plus the inside of the restaurant itself is super claustrophobic.

This is where the locals eat. We went on a busy night. Dining area can’t be bigger than 15’x 30’. Everyone was gracious and careful crawling over each other. No bumping or running over. Sandwiched in waiting area. Tight fit at our table, we had a great time. Oh by the way food is delicious. So worth it. Wished we lived near here to come again.

Hands down, the best Japanese restaurant in Dickson, TN! I’ve been here 3 times in the last month and I’m going back tomorrow night for dinner with my son & DIL. First of all, the wait staff are great! Knowledge and friendly. The food is delicious and cooked perfectly! The scallops were seared just right and the shrimp has never been overcooked. My son said his steak was good and cooked just the way he liked it. The veggies were also tender but still crunchy. And the ginger salad dressing is great. I probably could drink it by the quart? I haven’t had a lot of the sushi yet but what I have had was really fresh tasting and good. On my first visit, the woman at the table beside me said, if I’m craving sushi and the restaurant is closed, I’ll either wait or drive to Nashville because Nori has the best sushi in Dickson! I think the hibachi is definitely the best in Dickson and right now I can’t seem to get...

Nori is the ONLY sushi place in Dickson TN; but, they still cater to their customers! Staff is always nice, and usually quite speedy. Although many rolls on the menu are listed as deep fried (it IS Dickson) they can prepare them without frying. They have good Sake, basic beer, Japanese soda, and standard soft drinks (NO FULL BAR). They will make custom rolls, but will cost a bit more. They also have made to order hibachi entrees, lunch, and dinner boxes and great Japanese soups! Have been there about 10-12 times and find clientele from adukts to families with smaller children. FYI; dinning room seats about 25, but rarely do you have to wait...
