We wanted to have a nice meal for our 20th anniversary and didn't want to drive far. I was super impressed that Dickson could pump out a fine dining place. Drinks: we both had the the old fashion. (Steve?) Our server who also poured our drinks did a great job making our old fashion, best I had. Well balanced and not over powering.
Service: our server was attentive in providing us with a nice experience ensuring we were topped off in drinks / h20. Finished plates cleaned off the table quickly and just the right amount of talk with us.
Food: hubs had the special which was a white fish ( forgive me I forgot the name) and I had the salmon dish. We both said "wow" after the first bite! The dish had the perfect balance of seasoning and depth in flavors that I can appreciated. Not bland but a party of flavors!
Food was all served hot, which I appreciate!
I definitely go back!
If you appreciate food and the creativity of flavor combinations from a chef's creation, you won't be disappointed.
Great job...
Read moreWe really used to love this restaurant. Always had good experiences and had a lot of respect for the owner. The last time I took a group of ladies there from out of town and it was a big disappointment. We ordered a wedge salad with hardly any bacon on it at all. When we mentioned something to the waiter he charged us a dollar for a small little cup of bacon chips. Both me any other ladies Could have sworn that it wasn't even bacon but artificial bacon bits. For the amount of money this restaurant charges we would have expected real bacon. Then the manager came over and actually argued with us the owner of the restaurant stood and bickered with us about the bacon. He literally went back to the kitchen and brought a bin of crumbled bacon to show us that it was "real bacon" We didn't say anything else about it but we were still not convinced it was real bacon :). It was so embarrassing and they have lost a customer for life. I will never be going back to this...
Read moreWent for lunch yesterday as it was our first time for our anniversary. Didn’t know it was a limited menu but we still started with mussels and tried the special pot roast. The mussels were average. My biggest issue was with the pot roast over whelming taste of red wine. It was not easy to eat with the wine taste over baring the meat like it wasn’t cooked down enough or not. My wife had the shrimp scampi but the noodles were not done at all. So for those reason we won’t come back and rated the places with two stars.
Reply to owner. The waitress was too busy to care, so we just ate what we could and left. It wasn’t a positive vibe. I am glad you tried to back up for food and see the passion but mistakes happen. I am not sorry we won’t be back to somewhere we didn’t get good food from no matter where you claim it comes from or how long you...
