Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Dixon

Hi today, my husband ordered a medium combo pizza in my name and they told him it was gonna be ready in 25 to 30 minutes so he went over there and the person that he talked on the phone to place the order couldn’t find his order. So he had to wait 30 more minutes for the pizza I’ll be ready. Technically, he had a place to order again when he was already over there at Mountain Mike’s. The person didn’t recognize that he made a mistake and they couldn’t find his phone number in the system so from this experience, we’re never To go there because of the awful service. I wish I could give this place is zero because they don’t care about making customers happy not even a discount. Nothing not an apology. Nothing for inconvenience of waiting again.

Update: the owner from Mountain Mike’s reached out to my husband. He was very nice and apologized for the experience we had and offered us a free pizza. Thank you, very much it was delicious. Mountain Mike’s in Dixon is hands down one of the best pizza spots around! We had the buffet. The food was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The pizzas were loaded with toppings (they did not skimp at all!) and the crust was perfect. It was crispy on the outside and soft inside. The salad bar was clean and well-stocked.

What really sets this location apart, though, is the service. The staff here was genuinely friendly, attentive, and they made us feel welcome. It’s clear they take pride in keeping the restaurant clean and comfortable for families and groups.
