Wendy's — Restaurant in Dixon

I was looking forward to getting food from Wendy's.The workers were friendly and the food came out fresh. However what took away from the experience was that the employee who prepared the soda made such a mess that there was more soda on outside of my cup then inside. I told the employee that the soda was messy and dripping. I thought they would clean it up or at least.give me napkins. The employee saw the mess and acknowledged that ot was dripping all over the place.They siad they were sorry but still handed me the soda that was dripping and messy They did not clean it up or give me napkins to clean up the dripping soda they handed me. I had to insist and ask for napkins and more napkins. At first afte asking for napkins to clean up the messy soda they just gave me 1 napkin. This dripping soda made a mess on my handa and car. I also asked for sweet and sour sauce for my nuggets and ketchup. I also asked for sour cream and butter for my baked potato. They told me that was ithey were all in the bag However they did not put the items in thers.was not there. I paid $2.69+tax for a dry potato with no flavor due to the employees not putting the items in the bag. I had also also asked the employee for a reciept so I could know how much was left on my Wendy's gift card. They told me that it was in the bag. But sadly there was no reciept in the bag. I will give them another try. I hope that my next visit is much better. Also due to covid and staffing they are only open for drive...

Want a burger with a side of ATTITUDE? THIS IS THE PLACE! Oh wait, did you order an item and already paid for it? Yeah..we don't have that, you can pick baconator fries or....baconator fries to substitute! From my understanding this is a franchise Wendys and they are definitely making their OWN rules, taking people's money and handing out the POOR customer service. They were short on items to complete our $50 order and WITHOUT apology told us we need to substitute, NO REFUNDS. We already paid and you didn't provide what we paid for and you can't give us back our money?! Worse part is this is the SECOND time they did this to us! NEVER AGAIN! Whether you order in person or the app like we experienced both, this is their OWN rules. The shift leader rudely refused to give us her name or owners name only spoke spanish and needed translation through the Cashier. Not only was she unprofessional, she threatened the cashier not to give us any names or help us further?! (Another dissatisfied customer told us her name may be Tina or Maria) Can't give store manager's name to contact but she is here on Tuesday mornings...come back tomorrow morning?! What kind of establishment are they running? How are they carrying the Wendy's name?! We left with a quarter of our order missing, no refund to our money paid and frustrated that this type of establishment is in...

The area has a lot of homeless people living in the Walmart parking lot this Wendy’s occupies - doesn’t feel safe at night. There’s a lot of trash and the drive thru feels a little cramped.

Got a Dave’s single cheeseburger combo and a jr bacon cheeseburger which came out to almost $18. The lettuce and tomato were fresh but the burger was only warm when I opened it. Fries were also barely warm and tasted stale. Similar experience with the jr bacon cheeseburger- though I’d say the bacon was nice and crispy.

Girl at the window was terse and just said I’ll show you the receipt when I seemed surprised by the total. It was more than I expected because I had ordered a small bit she had entered a medium already and my order was half done so I just paid it.

I’m sure prices are similar at other Wendy’s and perhaps they can’t do much about the homeless and trash situation but I’ll say if the fries are hot, piping hot melted cheese on my burger and a pleasant interaction...
