Today I made a delivery order to be delivered at my house. I recieved an email confirmation stating the estimated arrival and my order . The total came up to be 15.48 including tip to the delivery driver . Here’s where it gets interesting........
The estimated arrival time passed. I contacted Doordash support and was told to contact the store I ordered to. I contacted the chipotle store and they stated that my delivery was a pick up order . ....... Yup..
How can it be a pick up order if I was charged a delivery fee and included tip AND received confirmation email stating it was delivery order . I explained that to the chipotle employee and she stated she did not know and to contact Doordash yet again.....
At this point I wanted a refund. I contacted door dash and explained what was stated and guess what !!! They said that only the store can do refunds.
So I had to find a way to drive to the store for a DELIVERY ORDER that I placed. I really had to squeeze the time within my 30 min break . The chipotle store was 15mins away btw . Let’s just say I was late coming back in to work .Crazy right. Once I got to the store they still stated they can’t do a refund . Mind you I paid through the Chipotle Website.
All in all , I paid a delivery feee and charges for food I had to pick up and my concerns were not resolved .
Because of that , I will be posting all proof till I get a response . I’m filing a complaint to Doordash aswell. This should have not happened especially in the current situation we are in. I wouldn’t have mind paying the regular amount since I had to pick up the food but at this point I want a refund and honestly I want everyone to know the lack of customer service both...

That's already about $15 without a drink, and you can only imagine how small the burrito is because I already don't get much in there. Occasionally when I ask for double steak, the workers will just give me two half scoops. It's insane that a flimsy burrito can cost so much more than someone with a bowl that looks like a mountain. I just don't get it. If the steak is overpriced to offset the other ingredients I don't get in the first place, why do I have to pay $15 for two half scoops of steak? I don't know why the employees are so stingy- is it because they don't want to walk two steps to refill their station? Idk. And if you want a drink, expect your order to be over $20. It's not cheap, and I'm disappointed because I genuinely do like this place. It seems like the only time it's worth it is on a BOGO day. Read moreThe lady and FOH staff is sweet and always does there best. Today i was going for my normal 3 hard tacos as a local with my girlfriend. They did not have any which was almost okay so i switched to soft tacos. I asked the lady if i can have chips to accommodate for not having the hard shells. Just a simple question.she told me to ask the manager. I did not get his name but he was short, white, mustache, glasses and no gloves on with a black polo. I asked him as I was told to ask him since lady serving was unsure. He came off rude with nasty hand gestures and so upset so fast. I have a sushi restaurant my self and the tone and upsetness and making one feel dumb for a question is uncalled for.
