My husband and I have been dying to eat some good ceviche for a while and I came across this place on Google.
The place is a bit smaller than I expected, but it has an inviting modern look. The hostess quickly seated us and we were greeted by Karin, our waitress. We told her it was our first time and she went through several options on the menu. She was friendly and professional, and just pleasant to deal with.
We began our meal with their Mini Tacu Tacus Con Lomito appetizer, and OMG, it is delicious! The base is made of rice and white beans and it's served with beef tenderloin and quail eggs. Each bite was absolutely perfect; the base was perfectly salted, the meat was tasty and juicy, and the quail eggs added an interesting but delicious taste to it.
Then we went on to our main meal. I had the Ceviche Divino (with shrimp). Shrimp was fully cooked and taste was nice. However, I did find that the lemon juice overpowered the taste of the shrimp itself. My husband on the other hand, had the Ceviche Nikkei, which is also marinated in lemon juice, but it has a bit of an asian taste, as it's seasoned with soy sauce, sesame seeds and other nice flavors. My husband really enjoyed his meal and was pleasantly surprised he was satisfied.
In the end our bill was a bit higher than I would have liked, but we both found it was quality food, nice ambience and friendly service. We both agreed we would...

Read moreDivine, Divino. Oh how I have come to love Divino.
I came in last week for a “work luncheon” and really wasn’t expecting much from the experience but man was I wowed. For the appetizers we have Mini Tacu Tacos, fried yuca and Boliyucas en salad huancaina. I wasn’t too much of a fan of the yuca and cheese balls but everything else was delicious. Especially the Tacu Tacos. OMG I could literally eat that as my entree.
For the entrees we had fish ceviche, arroz con mariscos, Jules mixta and I personally had the Lomo Saltado; although I tried some of everything. The fish ceviche was delicious. I literally plan to come back and get the Tacu Tacos and the fish ceviche. That’s how good it was. The Lomo Saltado was a little salty. Perhaps too much soy sauce or something. The meat (beef) was cooked well. It was just a bit too salty that I couldn’t finish it. I didn’t complain in the restaurant. I just gave it to my dog once I got home.
With the pleasure of Yelp, I was granted a free glass of wine and I also had their house lemonade; which was divine. It was just the right balance of sweet and tart!
I cannot wait...
