This year I had my 7 year old son's birthday party here. We hadn't been to Launch before, so prior to booking the party we came for an hour of jump time. The staff was friendly, and the place is very clean. It's also smaller, so it's really great for younger kids. The person who booked our party was knowledgeable and helpful.
Then why am I giving them a 3-star review, you ask?
The day of the party was very disorganized. Our party "coordinator" whose name is Daneisy and should not be in customer service, was not helpful AT ALL. When I checked in at noon for a 12:30 jump time, she didn't give us any details about how it would work. I had to pull the information out of her. She ended up telling me that she would call our kids at 12:25 to get their bracelets...she never did... at 12:35 I had to go up and ask so the kids lost time while waiting for their bracelets.
She wasn't around to put gifts from families away in the proper storage area, I had to take them there myself. Thanks again Daneisy.
When the kids were jumping, I asked if we could have some water for them. "No, we don't do that. They can use the water fountain". What??
Then, I asked if they could play dodge ball in one of the courts... "yeah, do it"... Okay.... Where are the balls? Which court should they go to? Thank you for all of your helpful details....
Last year, we had my older son's party at Sky Zone. They were SO organized compared to Launch. You had your party coordinator with you the whole time. They took your group to the different activity areas at certain times. It also ended up being less expensive.
I paid $800 for a party where my son couldn't have water for the first 90 minutes until we got our party room unless I bought him a $3 bottle of water... what about my other guests??
Overall, our experience when we went to jump for an hour and scope the place out was great because we had no expectations.
When we paid $800 for a party of 18 kids, I expected a certain level of service and did not receive it.
I won't be booking a party at...
Read moreAfter carefully analyzing and comparing all the options to throw our son’s birthday party in South Florida, this place brought the most value.
The staff was friendly and engaged with the adults and children alike. The small arcade was nice too, and give out tickets for prizes.
The pricing for the arcade was easy, (it’s not by point system which is complicated). Every arcade game is either .50 cents or a $1.00 to play, so your kids know how much money they got left.
The one thing I didn’t like is I couldn’t win a stuffed animal on the claw machine, because apparently they got it set on expert mode.
They gave us plenty of time to set up before the party and their big green kangaroo “Joey” was very friendly and took many photos with the children and gave away plenty of high fives.
Everybody had an amazing time. The children, friends and family all had a blast and we look forward to our next event there. Nothing but great things to say (except that claw machine, I hate it).
I’m 30 years old and I got the workout of a lifetime jumping with the kids, it was so much fun!
Highlights: *BALANCE BEAM (with foam pit landing)
*TIGHT ROPE (with foam pit landing)
*DODGE BALL COURT (their foam balls don’t hurt the kids at all, even if thrown hard)
*GOOD PIZZA (8 slices, fluffy dough)
*EXTREMELY HELPFUL STAFF
*A set of trampolines that you can flip into a stunt pad (those giant inflatable plastic mattress things)
*TRAMPOLINE WALLS (angled for maximum off the wall bouncing)
*BASKETBALL DUNK TRAMPOLINES (3 different sizes for all ages)
Check them out! You’ll have a great time guaranteed. We’ve been to a few trampoline parks in miami because there’s a million, but this one was the...
Read morewow let me tell you, this place has to be a joke. I ordered empanadas, which took 16 mins to receive only because after waiting for 10 mins ( no one else was at the stand but me) I asked how much longer for the 2 small items and I was told another 10 mins. After asking for refund because I refused to wait 20 mins for a small food item (I had to go to work) I was told no refunds. There is NO sign that states no refunds, not on the receipt nor on the wall, no where. Had I been told from the start that it would take 20 mins for an empanada, I would have chosen not to wait, but I was never informed of this. When speaking to the manager, he tells me the same, no refund. The empanadas has NOT been cooked or are ready and I clearly told him that it was unacceptable that I was not told it would take the 20 mins and it was unacceptable that there is no sign saying no refunds on food. He tells me to please be understanding that they are super busy and the machine never printed my the ticket in the back, I tell him there is no one here but me and that because the food was not even in the oven I wanted a refund. He still insisted that he would get the food out right away. It took them the additional 6 mins to get it out, a total of 16mins. What I get are extremely hot burnt empanadas of which I then requested a refund and was refused one again. It is disgusting to know that this place would simply just to make a sale, lie and manipulate a situation into one that would only benefit them. Pretty much this cost me $8.54 for empanadas I could not eat and a super bad taste in my mouth on how this place operates. Defiantly changed my mind about doing my...
