Yesterday was my son's birthday turned 15 and asked me to please take him to Fudruckers best burger in town according to him. I agree on the burger and that's the only reason I gave 2 stars. The MANAGER out of all people was at the register taking orders and Managed to be so rude that even my 15 year old felt insulted. This gentleman failed to say even hello. Looked so frustrated to be there. As I was making my order he actually raised his tone of voice and told me in an extremely ironic way to repeat my order and that mine Had to be ordered first totally ignoring birthday boy. Then when we asked the difference between #1 and #2 he once again rudely answered isn't obvious the Shake is the difference. I barely understood him since he would not even make eye contact and had a very thick Spanish accent. Maybe he was upset because I rather speak English even though I am Hispanic heritage. Regardless i ignored his attitude since didn't want to ruin my son's birthday lunch and proceeded to wait by door. I guess not happy with being a total jerk this MANAGER again approached us and told me I could not sit and wait for my order to be ready before going to eat outside. I was wearing my mask and so was my son and no other customers were even anywhere close to us, so I asked why can't I just wait for my order here by the door since outside it is 97 degrees of heat and with humidity felt like 100. He thought about it and " allowed"us to wait in the AC at least. But you CANNOT SIT he replied? there was only a single chair and my son asked me to sit since I have a double knee replacement and unfortunately am handicapped ♿. I answered don't worry pal I will stand and wait if that is ok with you? His answer was just a dirty look and a slight rise of shoulders as of saying i could care less without words. I understand because of Covid certain restrictions apply and we have to eat out in the heat but not being able to wait for my order which was 2 burger special that by the way cost me $30 dollars, for that amount at least have the courtesy of smiling and why harrase and embarrass me in front of my son because I want to sit and wait a couple of minutes in the AC while I rest my knee which has gone through 7 surgeries in the past 2 years alone? The most disturbing part is this guy is the MANAGER the one who is supposed to lead others and train them on customer service, one can only imagine what the experience would be from a regular server? Ok I think this explains my 2 stars which were earned simply because the food was good a bit overpriced but with good service and no restrictions it would of probably been worth the $30 bucks. This is the first time I have ever written a review in my life since I also worked in the customer service industry managing for over 20 years and know how hard it is to keep everyone happy. But honestly your MANAGER during lunch hours yesterday is a disaster and will end up costing you customers while damaging the image of an stablishment who in my opinion could do a lot better with the right staff of course . Sorry if this was long but I had to vent since yesterday I kept it all in not to ruin my son's birthday. This happened 7/20/2020. Today I came alone to enjoy a Birthday promotional BOGO Burger, when the cashier could not find the promotion the assistant manager (Jorge) got involved, and after a while trying to find the promotion he comp'd my meal.
I was ready to pay for the meal but this simple gesture of exceptional customer service, had positive repercussions.
Here is my analysis: The restaurant is well kept. The meals are cooked to order, and the food stations are very clean.
I totally recommend this restaurant as a family environment. The decoration is interesting and entertaining.
The lighting inside the restaurant is perfectly balanced.
Bathrooms are clean and well supplied.
There is an employee promptly picking up trays and glasses from tables "after" the customer gets up, which in itself is something that many larger restaurants do not get.
Here is a little inside, in Germany -for instance- the restaurants do not remove the plates from your table, nor do they bring you the bill until you are done and request the cleanup, and even then the bill does not come immediately after the plates are picked up, doing so to a European makes the person feels like the restaurant is kicking them out to seat someone in their table.
Overall, kudos to this Fuddruckers team, you made my birthday...
Read moreI have been coming here for YEARS since I was a kid. I’ve never had an issue with any of the staff or any of the food in ALL my years coming here.
Yesterday though was a very different experience. I ate my burger and fries and wanted dessert. BIG MISTAKE THAT WAS! I ordered a chocolate brownie since the crispy treat I usually order wasn’t available. When I got back to my table and took a few bites of the brownie I noticed it was harder than a brownie should normally be and the chocolate ontop was hard as well not soft at all.
I came home and was already getting a big headache. Few hours later I ended up throwing up all of my food. That brownie I was served was old. And not just old, EXTREMELY OLD. I got sick because of YOUR negligence Fuddruckers.
For future reference, you may want to revisit how certain things are done here as I’ve ordered my 1 POUND BURGER a few times within the last month and I guess everyone that’s cooking has a different understanding of what MEDIUM WELL is.
Super disappointed long time customer of Doral Fuddruckers. I hope you guys fix this location!
