!!!!!Overhyped and Underwhelming – Don’t Be Fooled by the 4.9 Stars!!!! We came to Sr. De Los Tacos because of its glowing 4.9-star rating—but left wondering how on earth it earned that. Our experience was frustrating, disappointing, and honestly felt like a waste of time and money. We walked in genuinely excited—craving tacos and hoping for something that reminded us of home. At first, we were acknowledged, but that’s where any form of service ended. Despite being the only customers there, we were essentially ignored. No one followed up, and we had to call the waitress over just to continue ordering. That indifference set the tone. When we casually mentioned the tacos seemed overpriced, we got no response—no effort to explain, empathize, or recommend alternatives. Shortly after, our original waitress disappeared and passed us off to another, who barely interacted and only forced out a smile once at the table. It felt like we were inconveniencing them just by being there. We had considered ordering more food, but no one ever came back to check on us—and honestly, we were too disappointed to keep going. As for the food: The tacos were $9 to $15!. You’re far better off going to The Taco Stand in Wynwood, where the tacos are actually flavorful and feel authentic. This place just didn’t deliver. The esquite was clearly made from canned corn, with all the toppings dumped on top. No mixing, no care—just a mess waiting to happen. We ordered a burrito bowl for our baby, and while the portion was decent, the quality was awful. The chicken was dry, the beans tasted straight from a can, and the cheese was that bland, bagged variety. We ended up skipping our own meals, too let down to even try more. We did order margaritas, which were the only decent thing we had—but even those were a hassle. They were part of a special, yet the waitress never mentioned them and clearly didn’t want to make any effort to upsell or share what the restaurant had to offer. Bottom line: This place felt more like a gimmick than a genuine taco spot. The food was overpriced and underwhelming, and the service was some of the worst we’ve had—especially considering how empty the place was. If you go, don’t expect authenticity, flavor, or even decent hospitality. And if you're looking for value, skip the tacos and maybe try a burrito or bowl—but don’t expect quality. Branding Confusion: One more thing—what’s up with the Mexican-themed figure in Colombian flag colors? That just felt off and made the place seem even more like a gimmick rather than something built with authenticity or cultural respect in mind. A 4.9-star rating doesn’t mean anything when the experience is this poor.

Good option for Tacos in Doral As a mexican, I admit there are not a lot of options for Mexican Food in Miami Dade area. I think Sr de los Tacos it is a good option overall whenever you are craving Tacos. This was my first visit. We ordered from the Taco Menu (every order has two) the Carne Asada tacos and I wanted to try the Birria Flautas. The portions are great. The 2 tacos had a decent amount of Steak and including guacamole and cilantro on top. The tortilla is like a combination of corn and flour. The Birria Flautas comes with three flautas over birria soup with cilantro and sour cream on top. For both dishes, the steak and the birria were a little bit on the salty side (A little bit less would have been perfect). And as I always say when it comes to Tacos: "Your taco is as good as its salsa". The salsa it is offered is like a variation from a traditional taco. They have 3 creamy salsa options which seems to be mayo based: Cilantro, Chipotle and Sriracha (This is my assumption only), and they offer other 3: Salsa Verde, Salsa Roja and another one oil based with chili crushed. For me, the salsa verde was the best, tho the amount is served is really small. I didn't ask for more because I wanted to try the other ones. The prices are fair. The 2 tacos were ~$12 and the Flautas ~$15. Service is not included in the bill. The staff was at its best. Everyone is kind and attentive. I might come back to try the Tacos al Pastor and added to this review later.

So initially I was excited to try this spot close to my house except I had two massive issues that honestly just don’t sit well with me. I ordered a shrimp quesadilla to go which cost me $17 plus tip all just to get plain quesadilla with shrimp and cheese no sour cream, no tomato onion even though it was suppose to come with it as per their menu. When I called and Inquired if perhaps it was mistakenly left behind I was told that to go orders don’t get the sour cream or pico unless the customer asks for it… which i replied why would I ask for something that according to your menu it says it’ll bring and nowhere does it state that to go orders won’t get that? Then I was told the same thing and then as I start biting into my food I noticed the shrimps were not cleaned not one shrimp but all of them and I’m sorry but for a $20 takeout service that’s unacceptable so I wont be coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sr De Los Tacos, a delightful taco restaurant located in the vibrant city of Doral, Florida. From the moment I stepped inside, I knew I was in for a treat. This review is a testament to the outstanding experience I had, and I am thrilled to share it with fellow food enthusiasts.

First and foremost, the food at Los Tacos is simply exceptional. Every bite of their tacos was a burst of flavor that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The tortillas were freshly made and perfectly cooked, providing a delicious base for the incredible fillings. Whether you prefer traditional options like carne asada and al pastor or adventurous flavors, Sr Los Tacos has a wide range of mouthwatering choices that cater to every palate. Their commitment to using high-quality ingredients shines through in each dish, and the passion of their chefs is evident in every bite.

Aside from the delectable food, the atmosphere at Los Tacos is warm and inviting. The restaurant's charming decor creates a vibrant and authentic ambiance, transporting you to the heart of Mexico. The staff members were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every customer felt welcomed and well-cared for. Their knowledge of the menu and willingness to offer recommendations added an extra layer of personalization to the dining experience.

Another aspect that impressed me was the impeccable cleanliness and hygiene practices. The restaurant adhered to the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for diners. This attention to detail, especially in these challenging times, showcases their commitment to customer well-being and satisfaction.

Lastly, the prices!! More than reasonable for the quality of food and service they provide. You can enjoy a delightful meal without breaking the bank, making it an ideal spot for both casual lunches and special occasions.

In conclusion, if you find yourself in Miami-Dade this is an absolute must-visit for taco lovers and anyone craving an extraordinary culinary experience. With their exceptional food, welcoming ambiance, attentive staff, and great value, this taco restaurant has left an indelible impression on me. I wholeheartedly recommend Sr De Los Tacos to everyone seeking an unforgettable...

I’ve had my fair share of dining experiences, but this one stands out in all the wrong ways. From the moment we sat down, it was clear that service was going to be an issue. For the entire hour and a half we were there, our server, Carrero, barely paid us any attention. We ordered food right away and were served fairly quickly—no issues there. However, we ordered drinks that never came, not during our meal, not even as we were getting ready to leave. So, we essentially had to eat our meal without drinks, which felt rushed and uncomfortable.

Adding to the disappointment, we felt pushed to make our food order right away, only to be essentially forgotten after that. For a place that seemed eager for us to order and eat quickly, you’d think they would at least bring out everything we asked for. The food was average at best—nothing worth the hassle. There are definitely better taco places out there that won’t leave you thirsty or feeling rushed.

Even after I specifically told the waitress that we’d each be paying for our own items, she still put everything on the same bill. This seemed like a tactic to automatically add that 18% gratuity since our total went over $50. Don’t be surprised if drinks that were never brought show up on your bill, and be prepared to pay $2 for water.

Finally, don’t expect any basics like chips or water to start—they don’t bring them, and, apparently, drinks are optional here. If you’re okay with a rushed, thirsty experience with unnecessary charges, go for it. Otherwise, find another spot that values your time, money, and dining experience.

Overall my experience in the Doral location was not good to say the least.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, giving it a one is too generous. Save your money, there’s better...
