This little hidden gem is my favorite go to place when I want a salad. It is super convenient as it's close to my job and the food is so good. I always order the chef salad because it already has the protein included in the price. They have an option to build your own salad ($6.99) where you get up to 8 toppings but you pay about $2 extra for every protein added. The chef which comes with two proteins is $7.49. I love the topping varieties and it's one of the few places that actually has various vinegar options. I do not eat traditional dressings, so a salad place with vinegar and oil options (not balsamic) is always a winner for me! Oh and did I mention that they have smoothies, soups and crepes. They give you a sample soup with any purchase. One of my favs is the lentil soup. I've personally never tried the crepes but my mom and coworkers seems to love them. They have dessert crepes as well as meal crepes. Now I have tried the smoothies and my fav is the green smoothie; minus the cucumber. Sometimes cucumber leaves a taste that I don't care for. This place has a little bit of everything, so surely there is something...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI ordered a salmon bowl (come with rice, salmon, spinach, carrots, tomatoes, lettuce, and avocado). I got a bowl with a bunch of cr*p just thrown around, mind you not even enough to fill the actual bowl. Youāre better off going to chipotle to actually get your plate filled with food on it. I added a picture so you can see my bowl just filled with spinach.
Also, the reason I ordered this was because it had a picture on the menu. The picture showed two pieces of salmon fillet a bowl filled with rice and an entire avocado in the bowl. I asked the lady why my bowl had nowhere near the amount of things as represented in the picture and her response back to me was that that is not real food and the picture does not represent what you order. Iām not sure why you have pictures to show the menu items if the people there will tell you that thatās not an accurate...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe āTickle Meā smoothie was incredible. I used to work in a restaurant and made hundreds of smoothies within the nearly 6 months I was there, and this was definitely worth it. I do not recall everyone even asking for this as a request when I worked there. Mixing mango, carrots, beets, and even orange juice as the base made it better than the original liquid bases that I was used to of either apple juice or almond milk. Simplicity is fine, but creativity is always worth giving a try.
I ordered a small, and now I somewhat regret that I didnāt buy a 2nd one or even a medium (since I donāt recall if they had an option of large for the smoothies) before I left since it was perfect. I can also see why they call me āTickle Meā since it gives a cool tingling sensation; Iām not sure if itās the orange juice mixed with the carrots or the beets, but it was...
