The people, the food, and the overall atmosphere were great! The man at the flattop was respectful and helpful, and both the cashier and the runner were excellent. Most importantly, the food was delicious — fresh, flavorful, and prepared just right. The corn especially stood out: sweet and tender, exactly how it should be.

That said, I think the place could be even better with a few upgrades. The furniture, décor, and organization feel a little dated and cramped for the space. The back area looks crowded, and the coolers in the front take up unnecessary room. Some of the wood around the prep tables is peeling — covering it with metal would help with both cleanliness and appearance. Also, the chairs in the front take up too much space; stools might work better.

On the branding side, the menu could use a refresh. Not all items (like chicharrones) are listed, and adding them would improve the experience.

I share this feedback because the food is worth it, and I’d love to see the restaurant match its quality. I’ll definitely be back — the flavors alone...

K’chapas might just sell the best empanadas in town! Not the “fancy” new twist, but the traditional flavor—delicious and comforting, just like home🇻🇪

Today was the second time I picked up some empanadas to go, and to my surprise, the owner was making them right in front of me, which made me realize why they’re SO good—they’re homemade! This is definitely a small business that deserves all our love and support, with amazing food and outstanding service from the owners themselves.

From now on, I’m a...

I've been several times here to get good quality cachapas to go. They seem to use a fresh corn batch when preparing the cachapas. Everything is made to order. On the other hand, it's not a very inviting place to dine in, it feels dark and for some reason, I've never seen anyone dining in. I also had a hotdog here and wasn't good at all. Stick with the cachapas instead. ...

I use to review high end restaurants but this time is NOT a fancy place. THIS IS a humble establismnet but their food is freaking good. What an interesting experience . Ask for a cheese cachapa and you will love the raw taste of sweet corn. All plates are very good. Not expensive at all. A good choice for lunch. Recommended.
