So when I was placing my order I wanted to use my mobile app for the free fries Friday as I’m approaching the window to place my order I tell the woman on the speaker my number code to get the promo it went through but then seconds later she says that my code wasn’t working which was odd because on my end I had gotten the we got it pop up message that is normally sent to the customer then a young man I guess took over & tried to explain that the code I had can’t be used again so I let it go & was ready to place my order for the order I wanted aside from the fries then the young man tells me to pull up to the window which then again he tells me that there’s nothing he can do about it so I said it’s okay let’s just use my other code to get my points & place my order as I’m placing my order I hear the woman saying in Spanish that she was cleaning the coffee machine that I had to change my order that I had gotten cause she wasn’t about to make anything cause she was going to clean that machine & she didn’t want to clean it again cause they were closing & she wanted to just go home then I ask to speak to a manager which turns out she is the manager & didn’t have the time to speak to me about anything that I had to settle for what they had I went ahead to took it, the original order was two frappe caramels one medium & one small the other was a caramel macchiato hot medium which that was the one she didn’t want to make cause the machine was being cleaned out, I’m sorry but that McDonald’s just gave me the...
Read moreAfter ordering food I sat down only to discover that my meal (with the ticket on top of the box listing what I ordered) was wrong. I went to the front counter and asked to have it fixed. The manager came to the counter and proceeded to tell me she wasn’t going to fix my order, because that’s what I ordered. I explained that even the ticket taped to the box did not match what was given to me. Her reply was “I can throw it away for you or you can eat it.” She continued to say “this is what you ordered, we will not fix it”, and finished by asking “so are you going to take it or not.”
I understand people will try to get free things and hustle a restaurant. However, the fact that a ticket is sitting in front of her face taped to the box I just gave you, and you continue to tell me that I’m wrong that’s where I have a problem. I hope corporate sees this message, and takes some sort of responsibility for people like this that they hire to run their store.
It never shocks me to see the type of people in the world today. We are talking about simply fixing an order, but to exert more energy trying to get out of something rather than just fixing the problem.
