I just wanted to write a quick message on an experience i had at your store in Doral city place.
I have been in love with this place for awhile now. I go every week, and have dragged my family to this place. They have an awesome rewards program, where you buy ice cream, and the 10th one is free. I go there so often, that i got two free ice creams, i was able to get my favorite order, which is the hot fudge brownie ice cream.
When i went after getting the third card filled. I run into a woman that called herself the manager. She told me i could only get a small cone free. She even did a big show of calling someone to ask for permission.
I was confused and told her no one had cared before, and i go there all the time. She told that she knew i was a regular, but she had to follow the rules. She ended up feeling bad and gave me the ice cream free. Which i do appreciate. But she made me feel so uncomfortable that i havent gone back since. I just find it strange. If i had a store and there was a customer that goes to my shop all the time, is friendly, and gets along with the people that work there. Why in the world argue about a free ice cream? Why make a customer wait and make phone calls... all because of a free ice cream?
I just ended up feeling so uncomfortable that i haven't...
Read moreI arrived here around 2:15pm on a summer Sunday afternoon. The pink themed store caught our attention along with it being hot and wanting a sweet treat.
I got cookies and cream , regular sized which is two scoops in a cup. My son got an ice cream cone. At checkout, I was asked if I wanted receipt. I said yes and clicked the email option but the cashier clicked something and gave me a printed receipt instead -_-
What I didn't like was that some of the ice cream looked like it had been frost bitten, which was unappealing and we stayed away from those flavors. Some of the options were pretty pricey. What I thought was very interesting was the "Tracy's Kitchen Sink" which is "Ultimate sundae with everything induding the kitchen sink - 18 scoops of ice cream, all of deluxe toppings, 4 chocolate chip cookies, 4 brownies, gobs of whipped cream & cherries - all served in a real sink". That's so unique and the cost is $100.
In addition to the ice cream, they have an area there they sell toys and other treats such as candy, cookies, brownies, etc. There is much offered! I'd just be cautious of the ice cream. You can be an ice cream shop with freeze...
Read moreI have been here not for 6 times. I think 6 times of walking out of here with a smile from ear to ear and raving to everyone on social media about how incredibly good their ice cream is, calls for a 5 star review and here it is.
Ever since the first time I walked City place when everything was still closed, I remember I saw Sloans and immediately called my attention with its brightly colored walls and playful scheme. The thought of hand made ice cream just awakened my sweet tooth cravings.
Their ice cream is creamy, tasty, great quality and you get to taste every ingredient so well.
There is a sundae combination that my girlfriend and I like to do which is Joyful Almond, Lucious, and Cookie Monster.
Hot fudge on top with Graham crackers and whipped cream. Try this exact combination and BELIEVE me you will try to find a way to thank me haha.
I also ordered a Reese's peanut butter cookie last time and had it this morning. Well I just came home from buying $16 worth of their cookies lol.
Needless to say, you need to get out here and try this amazing home made ice cream shop. Certainly lucky to have them...
