bb.q Chicken Doraville — Restaurant in Doraville

Okay so me and my gf came here hungry for some delicious Korean fried chicken. My gf have been wanting some Ddeok-bokki so we came here because of the great reviews (negative). So first off we ordered kimchi fried rice (my favorite), spicy galbi flavored wings and galbi flavored wings, dumplings, and Ddeok-bokki. The kimchi fried rice came out covered in cheese, like all you taste is cheese, there was no kimchi pieces in the rice, it was bland (no flavor at all) the fried egg on top was burnt. I was not satisfied with the $13 I just spend on this rice so I asked if they can remake it without the cheese or just light on the cheese they told me no because I should have told them that in the beginning, keep in mind that this was my first time coming here. So I told them I refuse to eat this I’ll pay for another one. So they made it over the rice was still so bland I told them make my egg over easy, the egg was over hard. I had to change the location due to placing the order at the wrong store but wasn’t able to on the BBQ Chicken App as there was no “cancel order” option. So, I called the store directly about a minute later and asked if I can cancel and the store owner said they couldn’t cancel either because they “confirmed the order”. Then, I asked the owner to not proceed with the order so I cancel with DoorDash (apparently the bbq chicken app uses DoorDash to process mobile orders) and the owner ACKNOWLEDGED. Called doordash and got an agent to call the store, this is after being on the phone for about 20min. The agent stated that the owner told him that because they “already made the order” they will not refund and need to be paid for making the order. Such dishonesty. Infuriating. Will not be eating bbq chicken at this store; who know what else they do to cut corners. If I were the store, I’d have lost the transaction and kept the customer, but this store decided to keep the transaction and lose a customer and gain a 1...

I accidentally came across this place while riding down Buford Highway. I saw that the reviews on google looked good, so I decided to give it a try. The first good sign was that the place was full of happy people when I walked in. Took me a while to choose which flavor of chicken I wanted to try, but I later found out that I made a great choice. Honey Garlic wings. I had to wait about 10 minutes for my food, but when it came out, it was boxed beautifully(to go)..and it was hot, fresh, and good. I had also ordered steamed rice on the side and it was fresh too. The chicken was super crispy, and even though I thought the price was a little pricier than expected, I felt the quality of the chicken made it worth it.
