My sister and I stopped by this bakery as we were waiting for a take out order from a nearby chicken place to be made. The customer service here was so lackluster and unhelpful. This bakery mainly serves the local Hispanic communities and all the signage in the store is in Spanish, which neither me nor my sister speak. Most of the stuff in the bakery didn't have signs saying what it was or what it contained, which is a serious allergy risk for people like my sister with food allergies. We asked the two young ladies working there on Saturday night what different pastries were and what they contained and they didn't seem to know half of the food they were selling. They also seemed confused when we asked how people grab the pastries (like if there were boxes or napkins or tongs to use). Once we picked out what we were gonna buy, we get to the register and THEN they tell us they only take cash. I find it ridiculous that a business with a physical location like this only takes cash. The two young ladies told us that there was an ATM not far away we could use and that they'd bag up our food while we went to get cash. My sister and I still had time to kill before picking up our chicken from the other place, so we went and got cash. We got back to the bakery (maybe 10 minutes later) and they hadn't wrapped up our food or anything (I guess they didn't think we were coming back). The customer service continued to be lackluster up until we left the bakery. When we tasted what we got (a couple empanadas and a couple pieces of cake), the empanadas were pretty good but the cake was dry, bland, and disappointing. I doubt I'll be going back to this bakery...
Read moreWent on a Sunday morning for the 1st time, since I saw plenty of people dining in and taking orders to go I thought this bakery must be good....I picked out about 6 different types of bread from the bakery and ordered 3 quesadillas and when I got home to eat them I felt disappointed that the quesadillas barely had any cheese or filling inside and ALL of the bread tasted old/stale 😭. I threw them all away. On a positive note the tortilla for the quesadillas seemed to be homemade and was good as well as the red salsa was good. Don't know if I just happened to visit at a bad time since a lot of the reviews mention that they do like the food and...
Read moreStopped by this place to get some food and got the chicken tinga quesadilla. The outside was perfectly toasted, and the inside was loaded with juicy, flavorful chicken and melty cheese that pulled apart in the best way. It came out hot and fresh, and honestly, it just hit the spot. Super comforting and super satisfying without feeling too heavy. Definitely one of those meals you don’t expect to crave again, but I already do. If you’re nearby, this place is absolutely worth...
