This afternoon at 6:30 p.m. my father was at this Burlington location with my 98 YEAR OLD Grandmother, when they got to the check out line, there was quite a big line, my father spoke to one of the supervisors/lead at the store, to ask if she could consider moving him and my 98 year old grandmother to the front of the line, she wasn’t able to give a straight answer mumbling that the people in line could get mad if she let them to the front of the line. She proceeded to talk with her managers on the floor and my father could see them just whispering and looking back at him. After a while my father saw the manager and tried to catch her attention, but she completely ignored the situation and didn’t even have the courtesy to give him an answer. The lady in front of my father who stepped up and spoke out to the rest of the people waiting in line, which had no issues allowing my father to move to the front considering my grandmothers age. It is truly sickening that this STORE has so many EMPLOYEES who can care LESS about the well being of SENIOR CITIZENS! THIS IS DEFINITELY THE LAST TIME WE WILL BE SHOPPING AT THAT STORE AND IF THIS IS ANY INDICATION OF THE VALUES OF BURLINGTON THEY HAVE MOST DEFINITELY LOST OUR BUSINESS! We will make sure to express our discontent of this outrageous and I’ll intent, that my father/grandmother experienced this afternoon with our Family and Friends. When my father got home and expressed his discontent of what he just experienced, honestly I’m still in shock to know how LOW the management team at this store treats the customers, senior citizens and even more surprisingly to be so disrespectful, and to top it all off a horrible attitude yelling at my father, all of this is a clear indication of the disregard they displayed for a 98 Year Old lady. If I could have given them 0 Stars...
Read moreI stopped by this store 12/03/2021 and I COULD NOT BELIEVE the level of disrespect nor concern for customers time or patience. It's Christmas Season and there were only 2, repeat 2 cashiers online. To make it worst, the manager/supv took up at 5 mins of one of the cashiers ringing up her own PERSONAL items. There was NO sense of urgency what so ever, the supv was walking back & forth having a personal conversation with the one cashier. Meanwhile the line had wrap around back into the store.
It took me 50 mins to get to one of the cashier. I suspect this is being allow to occur because the customer base at this store are largely Hispanic & they simply Could Care Less. Because reading back thru the reviews this has been happening FOR MONTHS. There is NO way this sort of behavior or lack of staffing would be allow in Buckhead or Midtown where I live.
It's Crystal Clear to me that the Store Manager nor Any Regional Management are Concerned or Care about this issue because of the demographics of the customers at this store or IT WOULD HAVE STOPPED LONG AGO.
I am planning on forward this story to several of the local tv stations and maybe on a slow news day they will cover this. Maybe get to the root of this lack of concern for a certain segment of Burlington's customer base.
This is Almost Unbelievable for a Major Discount Store Chain in a Major Metropolitan Area. Just A...
Read moreWent to this store a couple weeks ago and was discussed by how Burlington just let the customers just throw everything over the racks and floor. I tried looking for a coat for my daughter but had a hard time focusing because I had to keep pushing loads of coats that was thrown across the racks over including all on the floor. It discussed me that Burlington have their employees probably have them hanging and picking up clothes the customers disrespect. This is so disrespectful on so many levels. How about stop the customers from doing these things. The employees are not slaves. Customers if you take something off the hangers, please hang them back up. If you drop something on the floor, please pick it up. It only takes a second to hang or pick up something. Since when is this ok not to mention that when you throw clothing over the racks it damage the clothing. How much do Burlington care about their employees. Some customers need to have respect for other people things. These employees work too hard for little pay to let some customers disrespect and treat them like that. I'm very disappointed in Burlington for allowing some of these customers to do those things. Stop your customers!!! Next time I go I definitely will take pictures to post and hopefully next time if their is a next time, maybe they will stop them from doing these things. My heart goes out to...
