First I want to say I would have never wrote this review because I do understand that stuff happens. I'm telling my story because how I was treated when I called Baldinos to speak to the manager to let them know what happened. It's very true that in a management position you should ALWAYS be a GOOD LISTENER first. Second be willing to take care of the issue. And third NEVER GIVE ATTITUDE. I asked for the main manager or owner. I spoke to a SHARON F. She said she was the manager. I explained to her my story. I started by explaining it was my first time ever going there after years of my wife bragging about this place. I'm not a real sandwich person, but I was hungry and was willing to try it finally. We ordered for to go on April 8, 2021 the guy that took our order was very nice. We waited about 20 mins. It was pretty busy around 2 p.m. on a Thursday. My wife ordered the The Grilled American Grilled & Toasted and I ordered a whole Cheese Steak. I took a bight of the sub as soon as we got in the car. I was empressed. I ate half of the sandwich. Lol.. we went home and I decided to finish eating. I opened wrapper I had to go get something to drink from the kitchen. As I was gone my wife decides to grab some of the meat from my sandwich as she was grabbing the meat she stated that she was wondering why the piece of meat was a little hard to pull from the sub she thought it was stuck to the cheese and or bigger piece of meat but in actuality it was a LOOOOONG kinky piece of BLACK HAIR. As I'm walking in the room I'm talking out loud on how I was about to eat my sub up. She says babe. Don't touch it! Look what I found. She showed me some of the meat with a LONG PIECE OF BLACK HAIR. Even though I didn't bite into that particular piece of hair who knows if I swallowed any of it because I had already eaten half of it. My wife threw her half of her sandwich away. She couldn't fathom just incase biting into her sandwich and finding hair in it. So I felt I had to call to let the owner know what happened to me because I would never want this to happen to anyone else. During the conversation that I had with Sharon she rudely interrupted me and said CALM DOWN. I didn't yell so I'm not sure why she would tell me to calm down. I just seem very disturbed while telling my story. She continue to try to make excuses that things happen and I'll be glad to refund your money just calm down. That was the second time she mentioned for me to calm down. I didn't call to get my refund I called to talk to the owner so that he can have a conversation with ALL of his staff to make sure that they are wearing hair nets while dealing with the food PERIOD. SO AT THIS POINT I had told my wife to start recording so I could have something to have the owner listen to. So he/she can know how manager Sharon talks to thier customers. I said it for Sharon to hear so she would know that my wife was recording. But I don't think she really cared. Because she continued to have an attitude in her demeanor with me. She said she wanted to make things right she didn't want to argue with me. I explained to her I wasn't trying to argue with her. I just didn't appreciate her telling me to CALM DOWN if it was you that it happened to you wouldn't be happy. I explained to her all she needed to do was listen to me and my complaint with out making a comment like calm down. She then continue to try to talk and I interrupted her and said okay okay just give me my money back and I'll call the owner tomorrow. Then she said well you can speak to Joanne Myer James Myer Jeff Price tomorrow! So I hung up I was tired of listening to her. She gave me the names that I needed. It's sad that you can't speak to managers and that you have to turn to the owners. In saying all of this, sharing my experience is important to me. It's up to you if you ever want to try this place. I'm looking forward to talking to the owners...
Read moreI was recommended to check out this place because I have a personal search for places that bake freshly made bread due to some weird allergy i have with breads with preservatives.
When I walked in, the nostalgia was real in this place, from the decor on the wall to the local sport trophies and even the classic slotted style menu boards and just a whole bunch of signs everywhere.
There was a confusing amount of cash registers, maybe more are needed during the weekend but I came on a Tuesday around 3pm.
The place was clean and a mixed crowd of customers, from seniors having a group outing to individuals eating while working on their laptops or even the local construction worker there for a hardy bite.
EVEN BETTER I used to love another sub place for their daily sub specials.... this place got it and at a great price.
So I finally figure to follow the crowd and I was greeted with a very friendly person who was able to go briefly over the menu with me. I decided to go with the Baldinos Cheesesteak.
As I waited for my food there was a steady flux of people coming in and out of the location. Sometimes it looked slightly empty and I originally thought to myself, why is there a hiring now sign? But as i continued to sit and observe, this place is busy.
A lot of people are chosing to-go or pre-ordered online. So their orders were completed pretty quickly.
Some of my enjoyments of this place was the environment, customer service, the joyous conversations and tones of the guests.... Sweet Tea (haha)... Unlimited fountain drinks.. Free parking, Space...
And OMG the grilled onions, mushrooms and bell peppers on that cheesesteak along with the Bread omg the fresh bread was so good.
I can see why people come here. Its a financially sustainable place for continous customers as far as their daily sub specials. The environment is cool and well air conditioned, but there is an outdoor patio and its like you are in a time capsule. I can see myself coming over here and bringing my friends.
Family, friends and kid friendly. ...

If you're craving a hot sub that punches above its weight (and price tag), head straight to Baldinos in Doraville. My wife and I split the #11 Pepper Steak, and let me tell you, it was a flavor fiesta that left us both wanting more (but comfortably full, mind you).
The star of the show was the shaved marinated steak. Tender, juicy, and bursting with savory goodness, it practically begged for each bite. The grilled bell peppers and onions added a welcome sweetness and crunch, and the cheese brought it all together with a creamy, melty touch.
Now, we like things spicy, so we went rogue and added some of their hot pepper selection. Bam! Instant flavor upgrade. The tangy heat danced with the other ingredients, creating a symphony of taste buds on the tongue. A final drizzle of mayo (because, mayo) smoothed things out beautifully.
The portions here are no joke. One half of that monster sub was more than enough for each of us, and even then, we still had a couple of bites left to fight over (lovingly, of course). The bread held up surprisingly well, staying sturdy but not cardboard-y, even under the avalanche of fillings.
The atmosphere is casual and family-friendly, perfect for a quick lunch or a laid-back dinner. The service was friendly and efficient, and the prices? Unbelievably affordable for the quality and quantity you get.
Final verdict: 5 out of 5 stars, no question. Baldinos in Doraville is a sub haven for anyone seeking Jersey-sized flavor without the Jersey-sized price tag. Do yourself a favor and grab a #11 (or any other tempting concoction) – your taste buds will thank you.
P.S. Don't forget to explore their selection of hot sauces – they'll add an extra kick to your...
