This late afternoon, Wednesday, February 21st, at approx 5:45 pm. (This is for corporate, so they'll know) see next.
Yes ! I keep calling to find out the name of the young man (and who identifies himself) as the manager.
First class ! Greeting is enthusiastic, articulate, and energetic. Unfortunately I (74 y/o) can't remember his name. Oh well.
But, what a fresh, public-facing, representation of Bojangles.
He is "selling" BoJangles corporate, and he's selling chicken.
When I pulled up to the drive-in window, not only was he as I experienced him at the outside menu, but his interactions again with me, and with the staff inside, were affirming an motivational.
Tragically, like in "Undercover Boss," the "suits" need to get out to "discover" the talents within their staff.
BoJangles "corporate" should take a serious look at this young man.
The example teaches. He would make an excellent corporate trainer on how important the role of "order taker" and "cashier" is in representing the public-facing images of BoJangles.
Bojangles, please don't wait 5 years for you to do "Undercover Boss" and discover his talents that are immediately in front of your face right now.
Regional Manager, I am assumin g some part of your responsibilities is being a "talent scout" for...
Read moreMy intention was to eat at Chic Fil A. It was 1.15pm lunchtime and the place was so busy every table was full and a line at the counter. Decided not to wait. PLAN B. go 2 blocks up the street to Bojangles. Not one single customer in the dining room. Hmmm. Anyway went in to place my order. There was a great deal of shouting in the back going on with employees. One person on the counter cleaning. Be right there was my Greating but no attempt to take my order until she had finished her cleaning chore. Meantime the shouting continued in the back. Finally my order was taken.
This is a brand new store. Its fresh, clean and the product is good. Meaning the food.
Its a damn shame that the service is so bad at this location, and after reading all of the negative reviews about the bad service, is it any wonder that nobody is in the restaurant at 1.20pm on a Friday afternoon. Go figure!!!!!
By the way, when this place first opened it was great and I have eaten there on several occasions, but alas each time the service has gotten worse.
Note to the owner: You would be wise to take note of not just this negative review but all of the other ones and do a clean sweep of your employees before they force you to close your doors,...
Read moreMy experience at this Bojangles was the opposite of the one in Nashville. I was hungry during a tour of Atlanta and decided to go here as the one in Nashville was great. This means the bar was already set high and this location in Atlanta didn't come close to that.
The Good: The Bojangles looked well kept and the cashier was friendly enough.
The Bad:
The food I received was extremely poor. The crispy fresh tenders Nashville introduced me to (pictures in my previous review) were not what I got here. They were like plain tenders that had been relaxing for most of the day. Really off-putting. (Points dropped)
One of my biscuits was somewhat soft, the other one was too hard to eat. I was so irritated that I couldn't eat the second biscuit. However, I probably could break glass with it. (Points dropped)
I received no utensils to even eat the dirty rice with. (Points dropped)
The alarming part: They were not busy so they had plenty of time to make sure my food was prepared in a respectable manner. (Points dropped)
This particular location left a bad impression. Poor customer service while in Atlanta. I'd avoid this one if...
