I've driven by this place for years and never had any idea what I was missing... this place is AWESOME!! I love the atmosphere-- very clean, soothing classical/jazz music in the background, lots of tables, free wi-fi, and easy parking. Most of all, the prices are VERY good and shockingly reasonable (price range of $1-$3 per item)

The desserts are AMAZING. The majority are all individually wrapped, so it's easy to by several and eat them at a later time without having to worry about them drying out or getting stale quickly. The rest of the desserts are in a display counter (mini cakes, mousses, and tons of macaroons). The lady helping me suggested the Black Forest Cake. They also seem to have a nice assortment of coffee-house drinks.

I was only able to try a couple of the wrapped desserts but each was delicious is their own way!

  1. Chocolate Moon Pie- light chocolate cake/cookie that wasn't too sweet with a yummy chocolate glaze and just the right amount of cream inside
  2. Custard-filled Roll-- (not sure if that was the correct name)-- WHOA. Total sweet-tooth indulgence and delicious. Not for the faint of heart.
  3. Castella (Sponge Cake) slice-- light, airy, and just a touch...

The woman with glasses and dark hair working at 5:30pm on 3/25 doesn’t know what customer service is. We ordered two drinks. They were out of one which I normally get, and she tried to bully me into ordering something I didn’t know if I would like. I asked her if I could try it first, just a tiny drop before committing to spending $7 pre-tax on a drink, and she took an attitude and acted like I insulted her personally. I walked out. Absolutely absurd. She should not be in customer service.

Editing to reply to owner-- Nah, that's not true. She showed me the jug she had of the tea I wanted to order and said "We don't have enough left for another serving." She literally showed me the pre-made liquids. The drink I asked about after was the same type of tea, just a different flavor. She had a jug right there. Also, that still doesn't explain where her attitude came from. There was no misunderstanding, just attitude. And this non-apology you've written is frankly worse than not responding at all. I won't be...

Mozart Bakery was a disappointing experience. It has decent reviews, so we stopped by to grab some dessert after having pho at an establishment down the road. The decor and ambiance is nice. It is a clean, bright coffee shop/bakery. This is the main reason they are receiving two stars. Sadly, there is not much selection regarding cakes. Also, the staff behind the counter were rather rude. We asked if they had a coconut cake and we were informed that, "we are a proud Korean bakery, we only offer Korean bakery items, coconut is not native to Korea, so we will not have coconut cake. If you want coconut cake, maybe go to a Filipino bakery."

Umm....hmmm. The bakery is called Mozart Bakery. How were we supposed to know this?

We ordered buttercream cake, mocha cake and macaroons. The mocha cake was good, buttercream cake and macaroons were dry and a bit stale. Also, aren't macaroons French? All in all, an underwhelming and overpriced experience ($17.00).

I wouldn't...

Good service, coffee and pastries. Gluten free choices. I've come here off and on for many years. It is consistent in its style, service and quality. This is a large coffee house with a generous selection of pastries. The service is a little dry but always prompt. They food is, well, pretty. It is all beautifully crafted and displayed. I don't eat gluten but my friends are always able to find something delicious, whether it is something more playing like croissants or a bun, or, something sweet and complicated like one of their ganache cakes. It's easy to find something gluten-free here as long as you can eat dairy or nuts. They always have something interesting in the desert case. I'm partial to the dark chocolate desserts. They also have macarons what's your name with almond flour. They have an enormous dining area and provide Wi-Fi, if you're looking for a place to work on your laptop for a while.

I had high hopes for this cafe as I've been to the location in Duluth. However, I did not enjoy my drink. The Hawaiian macademia latte was overpowering in coffee and had a sticky or artificial syrup taste. This type of loud atmosphere is not my cup of tea. Not only was it very busy with lots of chatter, they blast the music pretty loud to the point I can hear it over my headphones. There's also not that many outlets. I only found one right by the door to the left where you collect your drinks. I saw another by the couches on the fair end but it has the lights plugged in. Parking is very small and cramped. It's not very convenient, but you might be able to luck out and find a spot in the tight lot.

I absolutely love their pastries and matcha — both are consistently excellent and reasonably priced. This café offers the best environment for studying or getting busy work done. While I enjoy going to cafés in general, most are either too loud or overly crowded when I need to focus. This place is different — it's calm, welcoming, and truly ideal for productivity. It deserves all the business because it’s such an amazing spot to hang out, study, and relax. The staff is always sweet, welcoming, and patient. They consistently make my drinks look beautiful, and they taste just as good as they look. The pastries are light, not overly sweet, and perfectly enjoyable.
