So I walk up to the counter and the 2 employees were having a conversation about their classes or something right near the register. Not one of them acknowledged me for an awkward few moments. It wasn't until a 3rd employee said hello to me before one of the ladies turned to ask me my order. The other lady continued to speak about her classes or whatever. After my order was taken the receipt came out of the register, and I stood there as the ladies went back to their conversation. I was wondering if I should pull the receipt out myself as they did not even stop talking to even notice the receipt came out. I then said, "my receipt?". Then, I was given the receipt. I shook my head and went to the end pick up counter. I saw the lady making my coffee was smiling and seemed to enjoy her job. She quickly made my shaken espresso and put it on the counter near me. She said, " Thank you so much. Let me know if you need anything else. Enjoy!" Meanwhile the first two ladies were still chatting away. I asked the employee who made my coffee her name. With a smile she said, "My name is Jess." I told her how wonderful her customer service is and her sweet spirit was obvious. The coffee she made was also good. With out her there, my experience would had been negative. Thank goodness for people like her. This is not my first time experiencing bad customer service here. I've actually avoided getting a coffee here at times because I wouldn't want my day started off in a negative way. Anyway, maybe the owner will let Jess lead a class in customer service for the other workers....
Read moreLady working in the register was too busy, flirting with whatever Mailk Customer that was coming up to order to make my to go order, when she finally did address me it was very unfriendly and she said she didn’t make much drink because she didn’t know whether I wanted ice or hot, I had ordered through the Starbucks app, which says that I wanted a hot drink and then she came up with a another excuse, saying that she didn’t have any of the nondairy cold home, let her know that was fine. She continue to ask me more questions about my drink as if I hadn’t already ordered through the app literally 10 minutes earlier, what’s the point of being able to order ahead if you still have to wait and be late for work, she continue to tell me to check the app because she said that she had marked off the modification that she didn’t have in stock. However, it still allows me to order on the Starbucks app, I asked her if my size could be upgraded since I had to wait a whole extra 10 minutes and became late for work and she looked at me and said I should check the Starbucks app again to see if it still says she has nondairy, salted caramel, definitely only come to this location. If you are gonna be there to answer all her questions in person or willing to be late for work to order...
Read moreVisited this location more than once as I live close to the area, and it's more convenient than making the drive down to Lavista Rd. The service is alright- the last straw was the fact that they do close earlier than expected (another review warned this mind you). This was the first time I decided to stop by not 10 minutes before closing, but a whole hour. The reviews are true that the staff consistently change, but there is one girl (long hair, fairly young, petite) that gives a huge massive attitude no matter how many times I've visited (be at least wary of her if you do stop by). Rather than politely saying "sorry, we're closed earlier today", she mocks a kiddie tone with the "closed, closed, we're closed" while having a smirky smile. The others I've seen at this location at least try, very sweet bunch (especially the young lady with glasses, tall)- but that girl is just plain rude and completely made me make up my mind to take my business down to Lavista for a cup of coffee. All in all, don't even think about coming here when it's an hour before closing- because they seem to close earlier just "because", unless you'd like to be face with a massive attitude when...
