Interior: It has cute decor, spacious with limited seating, but it looked clean overall

Noise level: However, it is LOUD in there probably due to the lack of stuff that would help drown out a bit of the noise level.

Waiting time: We got the drink fairly quickly, ~ 2 to 3 mins However, we waited for about 8 minutes before they even realized they had to make our egg waffle. They just forgot.

The drink: We got the crème brûlée milk tea and it tasted more like a HK milk tea, but at least it was still a good drink but it just didn’t taste anything like crème brûlée. We drank from the top to make sure we got the part that looked like crème brûlée.

Food: We also ordered the egg waffle but there was almond in there??? I’m not a huge fan of almonds (and my bf said the same thing at the same time as me right off the bat so I know it’s in there). I’ve never had an egg waffle that reeked of almonds in an egg waffle and I thought the color looked off, what if I was allergic to nuts? That was unexpected and not in a good way.

Total was ~$11 for the plain egg waffle that had almonds in it and a crème brûlée milk tea that tasted like a HK milk tea.

Is it just this store or does egg waffle batter always had...

This review is for customer service today. I’m a regular customer here. I love this place since they have only 1 location at Decatur. So when they opened this place I’ve come like every week. I always order egg waffle with custard. It’s always crispy and yummy. Today I forgot to tell them put custard on the side so it’s my fault. But I ordered the second one. I told them to make sure it’s crispy. But the lady was lazy. She took the waffle out before the alarm went off. I complained she said that their recipe can’t be crispy! Are you kidding me! I’m not new customer here ok mam! You just didn’t want to wait and rush the order. No one here only us. I drove 40 mins here for this so I want it to be good. I don’t mind waiting!
