So, this place came up as part of my google maps search, "tacos near me" when I was shopping around Buford Highway in Doraville. I went in, and found a pleasant, family friendly atmosphere. Nothing to write home about, but it looked clean. Right away, I noticed I was the only person in the room that was not Mexican. So, I pulled out my Spanish as I noticed that most all the menu was in Spanish(some English translations). When it was my turn to order, I spoke Spanglish to make my order. I mean the word taco is taco..no need to put an accent on it. lol I ordered 3 tacos. 1 taco de pollo(chicken)..and 2 tacos de carne asada(steak) to go. After about a 8 minute wait, my food was ready and I went out to my car to have a taste. Immediately, I noticed that there was no sauce or anything in the bag..just tacos and a small lime wedge wrapped in aluminum foil. I thought, well..I guess that lime is my sauce. 🤦🏽♀ So, I decided to squeeze the tiny lime wedge on my tacos. I tried the chicken first. The meat was tasty and seemed of good quality. The cilantro had no taste at all. Disappointing. It was at that moment, I knew I was not gonna love my dry tacos. I gave the carne asada taco a try..again, good meat..tasteless cilantro and onions. I know the taco would have been better if I could have magically made some sort of sauce appear..but there was no magic around me..lol..just a totally squeezed lil piece of lime. All in all, the food was just, okay. I think I will be going back to my trusty taco stand at the Plaza Fiesta food court nearby where I get the same tacos for 50¢ on Wednesdays. This place charged me $13 for 3 tacos and a large fountain drink. Never again. Oh and, the employees could have been a little more friendly. No smiles at all. This place can be better. There is parking..and a pretty big dining area....

My family and I had dinner there the other day. We each decided to order something different from the menu to try a little of everything. We order a Torta, burrito, quesadilla, pambazo and tacos. 📌The Hawaiian Torta: the bread was stale. Half of the torta was missing the ham and pineapple, the other half was just lettuce, tomato and a slice of cheese (not even melted shredded cheese). 📌The asada Taco: the menu does not say they are mini tacos. This is exactly what we got for $2. It was literally the size of the soda can. However the meat was well seasoned and cooked right. 📌The asada Burrito: it was a good size and the meat was tasty. It did not come with any sides. Normally other restaurant serve them with either rice and beans or at least a side garden salad and sour cream. 📌Pambazo: the bread was steal. There was hardly any chorizo and papas. Mostly lettuce and sour cream. 📌The chicken Quesadilla was ok. The chicken was tasty. The four tortilla was ok. It did come with some lettuce, but no sour cream. 📌The Salsa Bar only had 3 salsas. Green was good. Red was ok and the guacamole imitation was horrible. We ask for lime and they had none. They had no aguas frescas only can drinks and fountain drinks. The place was clean. In my opinion tables are too small (can not fit more than 4). One thing for sure i will not...

This little fast food joint has a warm and friendly staff. Once, the girl behind the counter came out to me while I was eating my meal to give me a couple of dollars because of some error at the cash register. They always seem to be working hard to help me get a good meal, even though my Spanish is terrible.
The food is nicely seasoned. Tacos have real meat and fresh vegetables on them. I've had every kind of taco and they were all good. Much better than anything I would get that Taco Bell. The tortas are big, filling sandwiches. They have a minimalist salsa bar in the middle of the restaurant.
The only thing that bothers me is that the environment looks like it was decorated by some guy who went to the Home Depot and tried to figure out what would be the most durable material. The chairs and booths are completely utilitarian, so don't make this your first date. Or anniversary. Or any date, really. But stop her for a tasty bite for lunch or a quick bite at dinner. The...
