Marcos Pizza & Family Restaurant — Restaurant in Douglass Township

This was our first time at Marcos Pizzeria and restaurant. My mom and I got cheesesteaks plus I got boneless wings, sweet chili flavor. My younger son had a steak sandwich with loaded fries. My older son had 18 hanonaro wings and regular fries and his wife had a pepperoni calzone. Everything was so,so good. But A LOT !! I could only eat half my sandwich and about 4 wings. We all brought half our food home except my mom cuz all she had was a cheesesteak....CONS- There are no booths and the chairs are extremely uncomfortable!! The tables - for more than 2 or 4 people are pushed together and they aren't same size nor some aren't same color! Plus no 🍺 beer !! Hahaha. And I think I lost my wired black ear buds I wear around my neck and put one in left ear so then I can still hear through other ear. I guess they fell off on the floor and I didn't realize it. 😢. Oh well, I'll buy another pair. But for our first time the best thing was all the food and our waitress...

While we really do miss Sal the new owners are very nice. The food is good. We get the Grandma pizza most of the time. The crust is thicker than it used to be when Sal ran the restaurant so we think slightly not as good but still one of the best pizzas in our area. It's the atmosphere that is a terrible disappointment to me. No more linens on tables. I get it... It's just an extra expense. The lights are always very very bright.. Not a fan of that. There's a TV on in front area and loud Country Music playing in dining room. Yikes! Why is an Italian restaurant playing country music??? So food good owners friendly but atmosphere awful. It is still BYOB and you can pay with credit cards which...

After reading some of the negative reviews what happned to me I guess is Par for the course with the owner. I was going there for a while then after getting my knee replaced I went in to get a pizza with my walker. It was very difficult to enter the restraunt using my walker but I managed. I paid for my pizza and attempted to leave. The owner was sitting right by the door and witnessed me trying to open the door and keep the pizza from falling. This went on for about 5 minutes. Finally a customer came in and held the door for me. I just glared at the owner and left. I WILL NEVER GO IN THERE AGAIN!!!! I tell every I know about it and I would love to see his...
